  • hey, i chose excess skin over being fat!! nobody really sees u naked except ur partner and even if i dont feel good looking at myself naked in a mirror, i sure feel awesome when i look at myself with clothes on lol coz most of us before the surgery we didnt like ourselves naked or dressed.im 6ft tall and i weighed 364 pounds before the surgery, now i weigh 187 pounds and feel great with excess skin lol

  • Girl your awesome!

  • Did you hear about the girl who gave up mirrors?? If you did have children, trust me you would have NO time for yourself and to focus on yourself constantly. Don't discuss things you have no clue about. You have stretch marks, who gives a crap? Try having a baby and earning the marks, for someone other than yourself. You are a very self-centered, self-absorbed person. Do you have bigger issues to deal with? Are you judging fat people now? You are still a fat person inside.

  • I LOVE your attitude! And you are so right! I'm getting ready to have the surgery and I worry ab excess skin but u know how can it be worse than being over 300lbs? You make a lot of sense. We worry too much and need to focus more on being happy and healthy. I hope I can have an attitude like yours! And your right, they are battle scars bc i never wanna forget how hard its been to be fat. Only those who are can understand. Thank you!

  • I have always called my stretch marks battle scares too!!!! Your awsome!

  • I'm thinking about getting the Lap Band, how long did it take u to loose the frist 50lbs???

  • Your attitude is excellent-- thanks for cheering me up. I need to have an attitude more like yours, spinning things positively is such a good idea.

  • I always love watching your videos. Excess skin? Seriously? Yeah, like you, I have bigger issues including I hated being a fat girl. I say, get over it or get plastic surgery. You can hide excess skin. You can't hide being overweight.

  • bahaha... "excess + blubber = lane bryant and I'm sick of it" Amazing. I'm considering a WLS and my best friend told me to research stories on YouTube and find negative aspects of it (shes trying to convince me not to do it bc she thinks its a quick fix for deeper issues.) ANYWAYS... so I found your video first. Love it. Hope to talk to you more about your journey and opinions.

  • I absolutely love the part when you say, "I may not look good naked, but I make a hell of a mannequin".. LOL!! Awesome awesome awesome! What a fabulous transformation you have made.. Amazing!! I just recently had a tummy tuck 6 weeks ago and I have loved watching ur videos.

  • I lost a 100 lbs and I have excess skin. And I let it hold my life back. I thought that people couldn't accept or love me if they knew what I looked like behind the cloths. But I decided to start living my life. Someone will appreciate me for me, not what I look like without the cloths on!

  • I say the same things about my BATTLE SCARS!!! I did a lot of damage to my body letting myself get so big..but now I'm proud of what I have!!! Those scars are proof of how far i've come!

  • I respect what u said. I have excess skin and if anyone has a problem with it they can fuck off!!

  • Wow,I wish I had your confidence,I'm 19 and scared to death of baggy skin....

  • HAHAHA. Oh my God - you are amazing.

    LOL @ 4:21

EXCESS SKIN + BLUBBER = LANE BRYANT!!! I hear you and I'm learning to love the body I have.

  • Looking good, will you marry me?

  • UR THE GREATEST!!!! i LOVE IT!

  • Amilia where are you??wy you desapere??

  • I have a severe excess skin prob as I have lost 18st in wght since my weightloss op and its causing gr8 misery and the wght of my skin is so bad I sleep on my sofa most nghts as it is more supportive than sleeping on my posh hosp. bed. As me having my excess skin removed I am waiting to find a loan togo private as the nhs in uk has gone really crap and I have bn NOT have skin removal on nhs in case of catching msra as my immune system is low already ad I have bn tld by 3 top plastic surgeon's

  • I like you! You are a skinny chick with a fat chick personality:)

  • omg you look amazing...i have my surgery in a week ...cant wait to get the weight off...please subscribe to my channel and offer advice i really look up to you...

  • can I at least see your tit's

  • hello did mine the hard way was 327 am now about 176 some thing and im 5feet 6inch not knocking your way i dont like knives well cutting on me

  • you are hot in a plain way thats sexy

  • duh tummy tuck takes care of that

  • I'd rather have the excess skin because you can hide it with clothing... You can't hide being obese.

  • I would fuck the living shit outta you.

  • You know what? I just love the way your tower wraps around your chest - damn, girl! there's some extra piece! I wish I could experience that some day:)

And I like your perspective - it's important to take care or some excess skin, but it's not the end of the world to have some.

  • Good for you , I ran across this video by accident and um glad I way able to see it . You look real happy with yourself . Keep that perspective.

  • The excess skin has been one of my biggest concerns but after talking to my husband I've realized that a little excess skin is better than having the life expectancy of 50, which is what my doctors give me..Thank you so much for this video!!..You are fricken awesome..

  • YOU LOOK BLOODY AMAZING

  • I love how you refer to stretch marks as 'battle scars'! From here on out I shall refer to mine as such! I have them EVERYWHERE and it's sooo easy to let it get you down, but honestly, there is nothing we can do about it so why let it get us down? It's about being healthy and feeling good! You are amazing and I used to watch all your vids regularly, and I hope nursing school and life are going well for you girl.

  • very positive woman.

I have found the Gabriel method is good for wieght lose.

From a guy's perpective light scares are way better then then never having the tummy tuck.

But if your one of the people that has to wait then respect, you can make if happen if that is truly what you want.

But from a guy's perpective ,we really arn't going to worry about the scares.

Not to say us guy's arn't shollow,we are but we guy's are more about the actually shape of the woman then a few scares

  • i know how u feel, but i was never big, i just had 3 kids, im 25 and have the skin, and i hate it. its awful seeing my friends with their fantastic and i have to cover my tummy up.

  • Congratulations, you look beautiful. I'm getting a sleeve in a month or so, WAS worried about the excess skin mainly because I actually have really nice skin, how vain.. But i'd much rather have stretch marks and excess skin and be able to tie my shoe laces..

  • This has to be the BEST outlook on the "excess skin" ever!! THANK YOU!

  • 100 percent true

  • I hit my 100 lbs lost mark! ^_^ I have tons of loose skin, and it's irritating, but it's NOTHING COMPARED TO BEING OVERWEIGHT. Energy level, easier to move around and walk, I feel better ALL THE TIME. And I did it over the course of 4 years without surgery....which is really hard, and I still have 30 to go, but I couldn't be happier! DON'T HESITATE BECAUSE OF LOOSE SKIN!

The best thing for avoiding loose skin is to not yo-yo in your weight too much.

Slow is better than crash then regain!

  • You made me feel better!! Thanks

  • Amelia, I wanted to ask you how long you did the clear diet before and after the bypass surgery?

  • u look great congrats

  • Hi, congrats on the weight loss! Just curious what made you change your mind about getting the excess skin removed as you are cool with it in this video, just a few months before your plastics.

  • ms a toalha ñ caiu ?

  • @massagegoddess show your breasts

  • first off, you are amazing! Great job on the weight loss, you look absolutely divine! Second, I'm a man, lost over 80 pounds, and also have excess skin. My husband also doesn't care, and he's also the only person to see it. However, I do want to have the skin removed. Not for him, but for me. I just don't feel like me yet, and I know that losing the skin will complete the journey. You're right about the stretch marks, by the way, I view them the same way, they are my battle scars.

  • Excess skin + blubber = Lane Bryant.... cracked me up! :)

  • I know that's right! You go girl!!!! You are so motivating...

  • wow!, you look amazing congratz on loosing so much!!...allison.

  • fuckin awesome lady. i lost 100 pounds over a year and have loose skin and stretch mark scars as well. but i couldnt be happier with my healthy body. great work.

  • I love your postings. I have decided to have the surgery. You're right about having babies and excess skin. My stomach and breasts are totally hanging since having my son, even though I am overweight. I've always had a tummy, skinny or not, but it's never sagged until I had my son.

  • amelia-you are cool! Just wanted you to know that I love your attitude!

  • wow your cool love you

  • you ROCK :)

  • Love your outlook on this issue! Made me think a lot about my decision on having a full body lift in the future! You're awesome!

  • I feel so much better after watching this video. I'm in the process of losing a lot of weight and I've been terrified of the excess skin issue. Thank you for posting this. You look great. Do you mind if I ask how much you weighed at your heaviest?

  • Thank you for your honesty!

  • Wow, you're an ass. I haven't gotten that vibe from her once. I assume you feel bigger when you tear other people down? Right?

  • I personally think that the Best and safer place in the world to have a plastic surgery is South America. I had all my surgeries done there at the MakeoverTravel clinic (breast implants, nose/chin surgery, lips augmentation) I am very happy with my results, they are just amazing and the most important very natural; Plastic Surgeons in South America are reconized to be the best in the world. It's just a perfect place, very safe and much cheaper if you compare with the costs in US!

  • Have you lost the weight a long time ago? I remember the first time when i lost a significant amount of weight i had some lose skin on my stomach but after 6 months it was gone, my body reabsorbed it.

  • was it will power? or a surgery?

  • its funny how your attitude changed when u lost weight! But hey you look beautiful!

  • she is sooo pretty after she lost weight and yes its like shes sooo much more happpy now

  • I agree. I am having my bypass within the next month and the thought of excess skin doesn't bother me a bit. I am looking forward to feeling better. Good for you!!

  • I admire your confidence. However, your last statement troubles me somewhat. You stated that you wont allow your excess skin to define who you are, however, you allowed your excess weight to define who you are. Sounds like the issues are more deeply rooted than just losing weight.

  • You look stunning!! Did the b12 injections get you this far? Or was it other stuff that made you lose the weight?

I'm proud of you girl! :)

  • you've lost so much weight !! <3

  • Wow you look gorgeous girl!! Thanks for posting, you are an inspiration! I am in the 6 month preparation process for my RNY bypass, and I am getting excited and scared, afraid I am gonna fail, but curious to see how others have adjusted after the surgery. I LOVE how positive you are! Thank you!!

  • I hear you girl!

  • you look amazing hon...n ice lips too sweetie------hugs

  • good for you! but the thing is not all of us feel that great about having extra skin.

  • Thanks soo much for this. Your an inspiration. Keep up the good work.

  • yeh that excess skin is a pain in the ass, i got it to, so now im on the hulk hogan life plan to try and fill it, thank god i have a penis

  • I think you're awesome

  • OMG I watched one of your videos from dec 07 and then this one and I thought it was a different person!! You look BEAUTIFUL!!! It made me cry seeing the difference in you.

  • You're strong (y)

  • (y)

  • Excess skin is MUCH better than excess fat! Not to mention MUCH healthier!

  • Amelia...you're great! This video SO made me laugh! Your attitude is fantastic and your positive spin on what some would consider to be a bad issue is just what the doctor ordered. Thank you for this vid!

  • great attitude/personality

  • WOW. Love this video :)

  • amelia I was just wondering what changed your mind on the excess skin issue. i have been watching alot of your videos and i see here where it doesnt bother you yet i know you've had a tummy tuck. i just wondered what caused you to make that step and have the skin removed. thanks and take care.

    Katie

  • do you think excess skin goes away eventually? :)

ive lost about 50 pounds and I have a little bit excess skin :(

  • cool

  • I am using a skin tightening cream on my tummy and I am doing lots of exercise but do you think that it will work because I really dont want to do any surgery wat do you think

  • Those creams won't help shrink anything except your wallet.

  • wish you would have let the towel fall off

  • its good that your happy and you dont let it affect you well done

  • your such an inspiration to other women out there in the same position you were in when you were really big.

  • I wish Opera could see this and invite you for her show!

  • Me too, Maybe one day. I would love to meet her. Feel free to write to her and tell her about me, i'm too nervous to ;)

  • @massagegoddess you are a breath of fresh air and a very wise woman. Thank you for making this. You put the whole thing in the right perspective. Excess skin is nothing compared to the fat I carry on my frame everyday. Compared to having to carry enough oxygen with me all the time on top of my 200 extra pounds. You ROCK!!

  • You are so brave and I truly admire you. Its not easy doing what your are doing and I am sure you are giving hope and courage to some young female out there. Bravo to you

  • u are freaken awesome! i totally love your personality.

  • Thank you!

  • You have such a positive attitude, and you look awesome!! It's such a pity people let the fear of excess skin hold them back from losing weight and being HEALTHY, after all we're all going to end up with sagging skin as that comes with simple aging, so I say go for health and just keep as toned as best as one can!

  • yay, self esteem boost! :o fanx

  • U r wonderful!

  • but don't get me wrong, you look amazing and I hope to look half as good as you....

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! u look great!! i think your pic looks like angelina jolie

  • wow, go u! i have had a baby and i wasn't a stick to begin with. and if stretch marks and excess skin are the result of losing weight or having a baby then be proud of it and think about what has been achieved. i like ur positive attitude.

  • u guys should try Bio-Oil WORKS really good on stretch marks

  • Well I think your very possitive and I love how you call your stretch marks, battle scars.. My body is like one whole stretch mark,, my arms, covered in them but atleast I actually have an arm!

People have it a lot worse, and whats a few strech marks or excess skin. Im the poster child for them :)

  • Hi Amelia,

I did not agree with you on this just because we all have different issues and the excess skin is another one as the weight loss and it should not be tossed like it is wrong if one worries about this...it would not be nice of me to say being over weight does not make you who you are and you should not worry about it.

  • Thats cool, I just want the people who are teetering on the edge and hold back due to the excess skin know that it is health that is the bigger issue not vanity. I appreciate any opposing view that is given without malice, thank you

  • Hello! I've been following you for awhile. I have just begun the process (it is fairly long here, in Toronto) to getting the same surgery you endured.

Your blog helped me to decide that I can do it! You are so positive and truly an inspiration to anyone who has a goal they think they can never achieve!

    CHEERS, Amelia!

  • OH MY GOSH!!!!! I love you. I have not had the surgeory yet(waiting on insurance approval at the moment) but I am so going to do this for myself and my health. You are so right, excess skin who freakin cares...its all about being healthy and happy. Im subscribing to you dear. Cant wait to hear what you have to say next. I love people that can speak their minds. Stay positive and Thanks.

  • amelia,

    I am a 25yr female single mom270lbs 5'2 and i am scheduled for may 5 rny.

i went to a nutrition appt and i am freaking out the diet seems so hard.

can u offer any advice? the protein shakes are killing me.

about the excess skin is it something i can live with?

lastly do u regret ur decision?

  • I like you, but this video bothered me

  • I LOVE THIS. "excess skin + blubber = lane bryant". SO TRUE. That's where I have to shop right now and I'm SICK OF IT. I've been working pretty hard and losing (it's always been a yoyo, but this is permanent now!). I've always had a fear of excess skin. But I always say that I'll have kids anyway so who cares :) My arms will be crazy, but other than that, I only worry about my thighs. Anyway, THANK YOU for this!

  • i love you.

    this made me cry.

i'm very very very overweight, and one of the things stopping me from losing the weight is that fear of excess skin. it terrifies me.

i DID have three kids......c-section...and it shows!

i'm just really glad to hear your views on it.....it lifts a lot of the fear. thankyou.

  • You don't need triplets to have extra skin

  • very true. you don't need to have babies to have stretch marks either. my whole famil has them, even the ones who are not overweight

  • same ere lol

  • I hold a particular quote very close to my heart and your comment about what your scars mean to you made me think of my quote, so I thought I would share it with you:

"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars."

    Kahlil Gibran

I think of this quote whenever I'm going through a difficult time or just generally feeling oogy. Thank you for being such an inspiration and positive light here - you rock.

  • Thank you! that is so sweet!

  • You have a face like Angela Jolie...better in fact. Love your eyes.

  • you rock

  • I think the media with its obession with celebrities is responsible for a lot of this crap. They constantly show women who have just had kids and the next month their stomachs are flat as boards with NO stretchmarks in sight. Real women are watching these women and thinking their bodies should look like theirs after pregnancy too. It's sad that most of us compare our beauty, to celebrities who have gobs of money to invest in their beauty.

  • wow! i saw this vid first and then your older vid about having gastric bypass when you were big. wow what a humongous difference from then and now! you've lost so much weight, you look like a totally different person. yur perfect just the way you are now!

  • Well, excess skin doesn't lead to diabetes and heart disease. If people are concerned about excess skin, it's an excuse to not lose the weight. Keep spinning it positive!

  • just watch your video's and i've got to say well done girl!i lost a 100stone without an operation.i'm getting a bodylift in februari!i havn't had a relationship for over 5y cause i cant stand that anybody touches me.I also want to say something to your guy,i dont know if you where together before you started to loose weight but anyway, thank you for giving here all the love she needs and to tell here that she is beautifull just the way she is.I have respect for a men like that!

  • rite on

  • WOW!! saw your first video and now!! great change!! keep it up

  • Your so pretty! =]

  • u look so good now!

  • I feel the same .. excellent answers!

  • Thanks for sharing.

    Rayvin

  • thank you for being so candid and honest

  • How did you go from this view point to having plastic surgery and planning more???

  • This view point is that having excess skin is nothing to be scared of or embarressed of. I have the means to have the skin removed, not all can. There are people who may decide not to have gastric because they fear the excess skin. There is a large part of the population who have cancer who avoid chemo in order to keep their hair. This is sad. Fear of hairloss or excess skin should not hold a person back

  • A large population avoid chemo b/c they fear hair loss? You're joking...right? I assure you that when my aunt was DYING from cancer, her hair was the last thing on her mind. Besides my original question wasnt about people being held back...It was about you stating in a video that your skin didnt bother you and you could deal with it and love it etc...but then a few months later you are going to the extreme of PS and plannning more..That is my question.

  • I am not joking. In fact I saw it on Ellen the other night. They were urging people to donate their hair so they could make wigs for people who have chemo. They said an alarming amount of people avoid life saving treatment because the fear of hair loss.

This video, which I stand behind fully was made in response to questions and messages I had recieved about excess skin. I shared the viewpoint and feelings I was feeling at the time. I am sorry if you think my actions are not congruent.

  • Well that is very sad.

As far as your actions and whether or not they are consistant is your business. I am not judging that... I, for one, change my mind and view points daily and in my videos am very candid about that. I portray WLS in an honest and raw form for my subs b/c I want them to know it's not all sunshine and butterflies.

  • part 2

I guess it was, however, shocking to watch a video like this and hear how accepting you were/are of your excess skin, then in such a short time see you running to the other end of the spectrum and planning and having mult. procedures. So, I mean...did you just change your mind?

  • Also.. I do not consider plastic surgery extreme. Being Morbidly obese stretched my abdominal muscles out and apart. Simply removing the excess skin and bringing the nuscles in tighter is something that has helped me. I could have done a million situps and run 12 marathons and that would not be gone.

Are you disappointed in me? if you are that is fine. I respect your beliefs and if me having surgery to remove the 8 pounds of excess was unexpected I undersand. I hope you'll still support me

  • I am not dissappointed at all. I think its great that you had the surgery done. I was just wondering about your thought process in deciding to do it if the skin truly didnt bother you like you had stated in this video. I will always be here to support anyone having this surgery. Have you seen any of my videos?

  • I could have lived with the excess skin if i had to. But I mentioned in a vid even before the Gastric that my insurance covered excess skin removal so I kinda thought everyone knew that was a next step. I felt beautiful and ok before the tummy tuck and it didn't show when i wore clothes unless I sat slumped. The real reason was because intimately the skin would get in the way and make sex kinda uncomfortable. Not because of its apearance but the physcial space it took up.

    Will check you out!

  • Thanks for the info. My dad has some mini barbells and I was already thinking about borrowing them if I have this surgery. You really can't tell you have excess skin in that area in any of the vids, even the Halloween one in the sexy outfit! :)

  • I'm a little worried about excess skin too.... not so much in the stomach/butt/thigh area, but more of my arms. I've never been able to wear sleeveless shirts in public (I even had to have short sleeves on my wedding dress) so if I get approved for WLS, I'd love to come out of it being able to wear tank tops in public! Did you have a problem with excess skin in your upper arms? If so, how did you tone them? Because yours look amazing! I mean, AMAZING. Really.

  • my arms do look ok, and I know the look good in the vids, but you can't see the whole truth. I do have some wobbly skin under the upper arm, but the real problem is my excess skin in my armpit and on the sides of my boobs. I have skin that hangs over the side of my bra and I don't look to good in a tank top. That aside.. I started lifting weights at 6 weeks post-op and that helped alot. BUT I am a massage therapist and my arms were firm and nice before I lost weight so my situtation is different

  • I am having the excess skin removed from my upper arm, the armpit and side boob sometime next year so stick with me

  • you look wondeful!

  • How much is 305 pounds in stone. We dont use pounds over in the uk.

    Your amazing!!

    xx

  • Just for you I went and figured it out. 305 pounds is = to 21.7857 stone. As of this morning I was 11.6428 stone. Wow I lost a lot of stones huh?

  • Ooo wow thats a hell of alot i weigh about 15 stone which is bad but i have lost 3 stone over the past 6 months!!

    x

  • slam! I have a whole new respect going on!

  • ;) Thanks!

  • i wish i culd be like you <3

  • wow i looked at your old videos look look amazing! what was your start weight and how tall are you. What do you weigh now?

  • was 305 pounds and i am 5'8" and i am 175 now

  • hey all you people out there that don't want to lose weight because you're afraid of excess skin, it just sounds like another excuse to stay fat and not face reality, and if your really ask yourself this question "would i rather be fat and unhealthy forever, or be thin and healthy with some extra skin?" grow some balls guys, and stop making exuses to be unhappy!

-tatem, age 18, 337 pounds, trying to get rny

  • I got the same surgery the in early july. I've lost 80 pounds already. I don't regret it at all. I watched your videos before I had it and they were inspirational. Thank you for posting them, you helped me out a lot.

  • I love your courage, even though i dont believe for a second you are okay with excess skin!

I lost way over 80pounds of fat, with no surgery! And i have alot of excess skin, and i am a guy and i am NOT okay with it... -_-

Anyway, how much weight do you have left to loose? 7pounds?!

  • URA MAN U HAVE A WAY OUT !!!! build some mustle get ripped

  • Are you a fucking jerk? DO you think you can get so big abs that they will tighten your love handles and stomach? Even my chest has loose skin with my huige pecs!

  • You are fab!

  • I could not agree more, I am almost a year out from my surgery and I feel so much better and so many people ask the same thing but after being overweight for so long and with so many health problems I am so happy with the new me I do not even think about it that much.

  • Such a great attitude. I have to be honest, I have worried about how much excess skin I will have, and if Spanx is going to do the trick or not. And then I think, I'm not doing this to wear a bikini anyway.

  • you are so prettyyy

  • I like the way you think. You have a good head on your shoulders (strech-marked or not). I have been struggling with my weight my entire life. I would love to have the surgery, but my insurance will not cover it. I will continue to try to lose it without it, but it seems like a losing battle. I just wanted to say that I love your attitude and you look great.

    Nova

  • my favorite comment: 'IM NOT A NUDE MODEL, BUT I MAKE A HELLUVA MANNEQUIN!' I LOVE IT. i DEFINETLY FEEL YOU. When i told my skinny friends Im in the process of getting the surgery, they all go "what about the excess skin." my comment: so what if my husband has to lift my stomach to have sex with me..hell, he has to do that now, at least it will be easier to lift!" There is more to worry about. If he loved me fat, he'll worship me with some damn skin.

  • You are such an inspiration to so many people out there-- Thank you so much for your gift!

  • I know that's right girl. You go head on and rock your new body. You should show it off with something tight on. I think you are special, and keep it going.

  • YOU ROCK

  • Kudos to you i hope my mom keeps the same attitude as you.Congrads

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I am in the intitial stages of trying to decide if this sugery is right for me, but (silly as it may be) I thought about all the shows, pictures, etc of the sagging skin etc. and I can't afford plastic surgery and I know many if not most insurance companies will pay for this...its silly to have this worry, but I was hoping someone would intelligently address this. Thank you. My BF had gastric this week w/complications so please send good thoughts for her!!

  • O M G!!! LOL I LOVE YOU!!! You soooo rock!!!! You are amazing. I'm in disbelief at how much your body has changed in such a short time!! Wow girl! Congratulations!~ I was laughing so hard when you said you have bigger issues than excess skin and you did your little "pfffftttt" lol... Way to go!!! I have my initial consult for my sugery on Monday. I'm sooo excited! I'm hoping to have the Vertical Gastric Sleeve. I am 230 lbs and have PCOS and have been steadily gaining. You inspire me!

  • omg, you're so awesome:) An inspiration!

  • Excess skin + blubber = Lane Bryant. i love that. you should put it on a bumpersticker. great video.

  • I looked your old vids and what you look like today. WOW what a difference! And I love your positive spin on excess skin. YOu bring up some great point...

  • hey this is by far my faorite video i have seen so far

  • i was so scared about the streach marks and scars i'll have after i lose weight lol not now i'ma be proud.

  • I am so glad to hear that, life after weight loss is something to be excited about, nothing to fear. A positive attitude is huge. Most people don't see my excess skin or stretch marks unless I point them out, confidence and cheery attitude tends to get attention over that stuff. If you are self conscience and kinda act weird people are more likely to notice the flaws because you draw attention to them. Most people I meet say they would never have guessed I used to be big.. wild no?

  • good vid amelia...i have the shoulder stretch marks and never wear tank tops out of the house because i have always been embarrassed of them...well, you're right. we all have much bigger issues than excess skin and stretch marks...
