How did Ai Weiwei financed his extravagant installations while many gifted artists around the world are free (free as in free market) to starve? Why not analyzing relevant issues such as US capital and knowhow without which Chinese regime would tumble long ago and Walmart shelves would lay empty?
Sorry, but that is illogical. Mao Zedong, shortly after World War II, began a social crackdown; long before Wal-Mart or any huge American corporation went to China. Albeit Wal-Mart has a large influence on China's economy, the store itself is not the reason why the Communist Party is in power. It's easy to attack the United States for another nation's problems. I reject the idea that America is keeping Chinese tyrants in power.
You are missing my point. Walmart is just an illustrative example of how things get done. Hating or attacking US in general would be as silly as "war on terror". There are all kinds of people there and I wish them best. Seriously.
My real point is: STRATFOR's analyses are IMO very biased and far from serious, mind expanding, knowledge promoting work. Years ago, I red some and it seemed much better. Now it sounds as emperor's world view, not much different than their Chinese counterpart.
Internal problems are always blamed on outside trouble makers. Egypt, Libya, Iran and Syria are some examples.

Just search for video
"We Have Nothing to Hide" US Hypocrisy: Refusing Access to Manning.
STRATFOR will analyse this serious issue next.
