@kalcaron only in one aspect. the additional mode of play, albus mode, where you play as the bad guy, has a ability that lets you teleport whever you touch the screen. its not to hard, but you may find yourself confused for a second as your falcon punched...

im not a big fan of the linear old "old school" castlevania games. The pre SotN CV games. Those one were as tough as nails. I prefer the RPG CV games so i might as well pick this one up

Castlevania is the only series that makes me sort of regret getting a psp. I was hoping they'd release some games like this on psp also but they are doing a great job on ds. This and DOS look pretty amazing. The old gba titles were amazing too.

No, those are broken. There is a difference. Contra is hard, lair if broken, Battletoads is hard, Golden axe is broken (partially, does not make it a bad game though), Ninja Gaiden (oriignal or new) is hard, Castelvania 1 (by todays standards) is broken. There is a big difference. Monster hunter i hard because of the camera and the bad control much like Castelvania 1 was hard because you coul dnot move after jumping and flew backwards from every hit and how in goldenaxe evetyhign knock you down.

Sorry, I meant "not new" and not "or new". But althhough the camera is broken in the new one that does not contribute to why it is hard most of the time. Sometimes you will die because of the camera which is unfortunate but most of the time it works fien (at least for me).
