Winter Kayaking in Michigan

Very cool...I do alot of winter kayaking in Ohio on the portage river as well as Lake Erie. Stay dry and play hard!!

Glad you liked. We each had a dry bag with an entire change of clothing. Wool socks, baselayer, towel etc.

If we were to tip it would be a cold five minutes but manageable.

We also had a supply of those warmer things.

A flask w a nip of whiskey warms your inners after a tip as well.

You boys are awesome! I can't wait to get out on the river this winter. Me and my two buddies are just getting in to kayaking hardcore and we've got all the gear ready to go for some heavy snow runs!! Hopefully we'll see you out there. Have fun, be safe.

Actually heading up to The Apostle Islands on Lake Superior next week for some camping and paddling.

then off to the Porcupine Mtns to stay in a YURT!
