Fucking awesome, due to using a good array of effects AND had an alright story and, I guess it gave me what I wanted;

I haven't watched the original, and with that I have the feeling that I don't know what is possible and what is not, adding a sence of mystery.

Tron was a wonderful concept and had a very good plot! It's ridiculous to expect perfection, in my opinion, and the battle scenes were very well done and wonderfully choreographed. I didn't even realize that QLU was CGI'd until I saw this review! They did really well on that!

Tron Legacy blew it. They crammed all the action intio the 1st third of the movie. Everything after he was rescued from the light cycle game was boring until the last 15 mins. Maybe they should have done the movie backwards then the action would have been building up instead of crashing to a stop.

The story made absolutely no sense, and the only decent scenes were the lightbike and light disc battles (i.e. reinventions of the old TRON). Anything new was either lame or confused, so I feel they could have done much better. That said, the lightbike scene was very good, and so was the lightdisc battle, although it was to choppy and didn't give way to long enough sequences. I'd give it a 6/10.

I tried to find more eloquent words, but none can describe this movie as accurately as "sucked". This remake is terrible. The 3D i watched was almost non-existant. The plot was weak, typical, overused, and boring. Some guy actually said "unlike Avatar, the plot was complex"?? Realy? I would love to listen to him explain the complexity to me. The small positive i can make out of it are the visual design of the digital world. I donno maybe I expected too much. Very disappointing.

I have been a fan of tron since I was little. My dad is also a big fan. went to a free opening day 3d screening and they were giving away free tron popcorn buckets. They movie started off with some good references to the original and when they showed the original Flynn's arcade I started to get real excited. What really bothered me was the fact that just like the old tron there was a lack of story. Effects were good overall but the cgi Clu sucked. Better movie then normal but not the best. 8.75
