I'm just always so fascinated by classic Disney animation like this. I dont know how they do it, but they inspire kids dreams! And it's just so magical to see a child actually getting to meet a princess or to watch a movie and say "Yeah, my dreams really can come true." I remember when I was a little kid and I simply adored this movie, and because of these magical movies, I believe, then and now, that anything is possible :)

Backwards it's a story of a privileged well off woman who loses everything when she breaks up with her husband who she is depend on and works as a servant for 3 women. There's no way to see that as a woman "learning her place." Backwards it''s the complete opposite and is way more Feminist then the actual storyline which is suppose to be about women knowing their place. The whole story is about a woman finding a man as her great ambition and purpose.
