DID does exist still its usually found in people who have been abused quite severely and to keep them from completely dissolving their brain fractured into other personalities to try and keep them sane. I like the islamic techniques of excorsism compared to catholic and orthodox. It is more subtle, gentle and compassionate/intelligent. The jinn/demon is persuaded to leave the woman, not forced. But I see the intelligence of the sheik when he has a dialogue with the jinn, explaining and persuading him to do what benefits him the most, to leave the woman. You should never try to fight evil with force. Only love and compassion, combined with insight, is stronger than evil. God is these three things.

It has to have a 'host', a living form. We all have evil in us, more or less. When we love someone, there is less. When we hate someone, there is more. If you nourish hatred inside you, you become open for the evil. Love is the only remedy.

But darkness can not exist by itself, it is only the absence of light. So it is with good and evil, love and hate, truth and lie. Evil, hate and lie are simply the absence of good, love and truth. Hence darkness as well as evil cannot exist when there is light and love. And I never said that where there is darkness, there is also evil. I just used them as a metaphore. This was said to show how everything is a result of choice by the free will we are given by God.
