  • 3:08 DANG I LOST AGAIN!!! >_> ....

  • @FlameScorpian Means I have to replay ^__^ "AGAIN!!!"

  • Now make a boss battle medley where the player wins! >:3

  • @EvanFingerstyle Haha, yes, I should probably make a medley where I send the listener into battle at level 99 instead of 1.

  • First one sounds like a Pokemon song. XD

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • Very nice. However, I think that the Chrono Trigger boss battle theme sounded a little too happy on a piano, hehe.

  • 1. Mario galaxy boss battle

2.Final fantasy 4 final boss battle

    3. Final fantasy 7 battle theme

    4. Final fantasy 4 boss theme

    5.?

    6.?

    7.Chrono trigger boss theme

    8.Crono cross___________

9.final fantasy 4 ginal boss theme again

    10. Final fantasy 7 battle again

  • @meganerdXD Very nice! You certainly know your boss battles :)

    5. Final Fantasy 8 - The Extreme

    6. Secret of Mana - Meridian Dance

7.5 - Secret of Mana - Danger! (for about 2 seconds)

  • ohmygosh, that little 2 seconds of "The Extreme" was delightful xD

  • can you do star wolf theme for MY birthday?? its in 4 days :(

  • you should have done the final boss theme for Mario and luigi 3.

  • Does the FF7 song at 2:48 have a specific name?

I can't find the song anywhere. I want the sheet music for it.

  • @pyrotek7x7 It's the standard battle theme. I'm not sure whether it has some specific name, but I would stick to battle theme.

  • Marry me...

  • this is a tottaly exciting and jumpy song! soooo kewl! thanks!

  • Yaaaaaayyyy Those Who Fight!!!! FTW

  • You should play Kingdom Hearts Music! It would be SO EPIC!!!!!

  • Very good job! This makes me want to listen to even more of your perfomances!

  • I love this, it's amazing! Really really good work =]

  • Sweet Chrono Cross Battle Theme :D You played Meridian Dance from Secret of Mana, but not Danger :(

  • I did both, actually. :) Danger is referenced very briefly at 1:40 with no pictures accompanying it, and I quoted the bass line, rather than the melody.

  • @waltzforluma

I still don't hear it :\ Just the Chrono Cross theme.

  • It's okay - like I said in the video description, it's hard to catch. I used the bass from Danger as a filler between the World Revolution/Zeromus section and Brink of Death from Chrono Cross - so, it's that little bass run 2 seconds before Brink of Death enters. Every detail from this medley is derived from a boss battle theme, no matter how extensive or brief. :)

  • @waltzforluma

Ahhh ok I see what you mean now! You see, Danger is probably one of the greatest video game tunes ever written, yet nobody every plays it on piano. I'm about to change that ;) I'm trying to learn all of the crazy runs in the middle section :\

  • Danger is definitely one of my favorite boss battles ever - I can't wait to hear your version of it!

  • This is perfect in every way. Just...wow.

  • wooooooow maaaan this is just aswesooooome great work!!

  • Brink of Death and the Extreme are the best parts of this O.o. For sure, the person you played this for is very happy

  • beast :]

  • What is the one that starts at 0:50?

  • It's boss battle #2 from FF4, I believe. :)

  • Ooh, thanks!

  • do i even need to say anything?

    yes i do!

    its awesome!

  • The Game Over was EPIC, nicely placed, great piano playing, your fingers must have been sore afterwords XD

  • Uh...there are probably just as many girls as boys that play Final Fantasy if not more.

  • O_O!!!

    Stereotypical!!

I'm better than a looot of guys at videogames (and REAL videogames!) and I'm sure she is, too! So no more of that!

Otherwise, I agree, she should work at nintendo 8D

  • This has inspired me to go back and finish FF4.

  • Very nice!

  • Thank you. :)

  • Wow, this was really amazing! I loved the compilation. I did have a bit of a tough time guessing some songs, but I caught on after a bit. They seemed to be in different keys, but I think that certainly added some more style to it.

Overall, Very nice! Beyond awesomeness = 6/5 ^____^

  • Thank you very much! Yes, I changed the keys of some of the tunes so they'd flow together more. :)

  • Yes, I did like that ^___^ It reminds me of what some composers and singers do when they put already created songs into their own style and sound. Excelente :)

  • This is too epic for words. You just gained a top spot on my favorites. You REALLY need to make this a video response to a popular video, so you can get views as monstrous as this medley.

  • I love this. o_o

  • i was going to attempt to guess them.. and then i saw the tags :p

  • fantastic playing by the way. i think the impressionistic gloss-over you give your originals and interpretations works great.

  • awesome playing game themes i really love it have alrady favorite games like them that good games and a few of those kins of games not come out here

  • I absolutely love those who fight from FF7

  • lol at 1:04

  • FF4 boss theme is the BEST song i have almost learned!!

  • FF8 was too short

  • Wow, you are really good. It's rare to find medleys on youtube, especially of this quality. Not to mention your taste is pretty good.

  • I only know the SMG one and FFIV/SMRPG Culex theme. I don't play any FF or Chrono w/e games.

  • I've only played FF4, but I'm pretty familiar with the more recent FF soundtracks. They're quite popular and I admire Nobuo Uematsu as a composer. :)

  • I recognize:

0:00 - Super Mario Galaxy: Dino Piranha

    0:26 - FF4: The Final Battle (Zeromus)

    0:40 - FF7: Battle Theme

    0:49 - FF4: Boss Battle

1:29 - Chrono Trigger: World Revolution (True Lavos)

1:42 - Chrono Cross: Boss Battle

2:07 - The Final Battle (Zeromus)

    2:48 - FF7: Battle Theme

Great job, that's an incredible medley. Keep on playing.

  • Thanks! And wow, you picked out a lot of the tunes. Good ear. :)

  • 1:02 - FF8 the extreme

  • this is amazing, good job!!!

  • This is awesome! Thanks for the awesome upload, and the link to the sheet music. Hope everything goes well ^_^

  • It was all very well-done. However, your versions the final battles themes for Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy 8 and Final Fantasy 4 deserve their own videos.

  • I love it...You have so much talent

  • Awesome!!! would love to hear the zelda ocarina of time boss battle theme

  • Thanks! I do happen to know how to play the OoT boss battle on piano, so perhaps I'll do something with that theme sometime. :)

  • Wow, that is amazing, it all fits together so well. Infact its so awesome it deserves an MP3. YOu have an amazing amount of talent. A rival to Nobou himself. Absolute win. How long have you been playing for?

  • wow this is really amazing! and that you arranged it your self is even cooler :D nice job

  • That's a nice medley... I'm really surprised of your talent, there's just a thing... the song that you played of the Secret Of Mana isn't DANGER, the real name is MERIDIAN DANCE and is the one that you hear when you are battling the final boss. But you did it well.

    Congrats! Keep on going!

  • Hi Mike, thanks for the compliment! I used both Meridian Dance and Danger in the medley. Meridian Dance is the more obvious one, and Danger appears for 2 seconds in the bass line between "World Revolution/Zeromus" and "Brink of Death" which is why I said it was hard to catch. It's an obscure reference. :) But I'm glad you mentioned it anyway, it just shows you know your game music!

  • Only my favorites. I love this guy!!

  • Also, I just noticed- I actually WOULD like to see the sheet music. XD Sounds epic.

  • Hey King! I -just- put up a blog for sheet music and included the Boss Battle Medley. The link's on my main page in case you're curious. :)

  • holy crap this is good. i wanna learn how to play the piano n create the same music but sadly i dont even have one lol :( well done AGAIN :D

  • Thanks. :D

  • Ahh that was full of win!

Beautiful girl, beautiful arrangement, beautiful playing =)

    Another form of harmony ;)

  • Aw, thank you very much. xD

  • Wow, that was amazing! I really love the transitions; you wouldn't know that it was becoming a different song if there weren't any visual cues or prior knowledge of these songs.

I was going to comment on the cleanness and accuracy you maintained were through the whole arrangement, and then I read your info about recording it in sections. :P But still, it's amazing how you stitched it all into one smooth, flowing piece! (maybe I should try something like that...) Fantastic performance! :D

  • Thank you! That means a lot coming from you.

Yeah, I cheated. xD I think I'm a lot better with transcribing & arranging for the piano than actually playing it. But one day... one day I'll get though the whole thing!

  • Haha, no, thank YOU. X) Your performance, recorded separately or not, is awesome nevertheless. I feel like doing that as well, but people seem to enjoy "live" performances with video footage more, haha. It would make my life so much easier to just do everything in chunks rather than all in one try. XD

  • Where did you get the Nintendo Power scans? I've only been able to find the comics from it.

  • Argh! I keep trying to reply to you but my comment never posts for some reason...

  • Hm... that last comment seemed to work, so I wonder if it's because of the URL. Anyway, if you search for "Secret of Mana art" on Google, one of the first hits should be fantasyanime (dot) com. They have all the comics and scans there. :)

Thanks for stopping by, I missed seeing you around. <3

  • Ah, awesome. Yeah, I was having trouble posting comments too.

And yeah, I'm around here and there of course.

  • That... was amazing. Beautiful transitions, and it held together really well. Definitely wasn't expecting Final Fantasy and Chrono Cross after SMG. XD I especially liked the waltz sounding FFIV after FFVII's boss fight.

    Definitely monstrous.

  • Thank you. <3

Haha, the FF4 boss battle kind of sticks out like a sore thumb, doesn't it?

  • Must be a pretty awesome sore thumb, then. :D
