I understand from reading articles on the internet that this route from Middleton Quarry still operates. Can you tell me if it's the same time each Tuesday and Friday (I believe thats the 2 days it runs)? I would like to go down and catch it at the crossing myself.

I work at the adjacent Morrisons store and our smoking area is right next to the area where the train switches end. Multiple times of the day that train make 1 hell of a noise.
I've now amended the info re. East Dereham and Swaffham. As to the destination, I believe it is Monk Bretton, near Barnsley in South Yorkshire, but I am not 100% sure as I think there may be other traffic destinations in the northwest. I would welcome further info.
