If this IS a power supply, then why do you have to plug it into a POWER SUPPLY? It don't make sense! Maybe it CONVERTS it to DC. But then you said you can plug it into DC or AC! What are you plugging into it? 110volts of AC from the wall? That much power seems dangerous. It's almost as confusing as the breadboard questions!

It's a power supply not a power source. It supply's a variable amount of voltage to you breadboard project. It still needs a source of power. If you buy a $300~ bench power supply, guess what you have to plug that one in as well. Although you're just trolling, others might of wanted to know.

This is for the "breadboard" question. A breadboard is a committee of people who roll dough & make bread! Sorta like a school board- who sits around and makes schools. If the schools had more breadboards, it would be easier to feed more kids. Pizza is not made from breadboards because you don't have to go to school to make pizza. Pizza, on the other hand CAN be made at school. Just don't get caught. If you have "breadboard pizza", then you probably have an aftermarket version. I hope this helps!

A breadboard is a convient way to build up quick electronics circuts for testing, Rather then do the CAD work to make a PCB for an untested design we can put together a prototype of the circuit to work out the bugs. After it works, we make a PCB. In fact this power supply was designed and tested by building it on a breadboard.

You can see a breadboard in the video, its the white thing the power supply plugs into.

quick question in my CLA class (Computer Logic and Algorithms) we were doing all these wiring with bread bords and stuff with like basic boolean logic and i was just wondering if i would have enough knowledge to be able to put together some stuff like this or the ardwino

I like you videos but one thing I will have to say is when I was in there mariens I was a telephone computer repair tech. we always started with small coponets first like the risisters first. and did the same thing bind them back some not a lot just so they hold there self in the hole then we cut them about 1/4 to 1/8 inch before soldering so we we got a clean solder and didnt have the edges after cutting.

Ive seen an amplifier kit on the internet, its a mono amp kit and it uses the LM386 8 pin audio amp IC chip and it has power input of +5v and a mono audio input for line in and a speaker out. id like to build that amp. its all apart like this PS kit is and you need to put it together and solder it, would be very handy to have id get 2 of them and have stereo.
