I'll be 41 in a month. In the 90s, I played bass in a few thrash bands. I hung it up in '97 (I think). My last gig was opening for Clutch, who was opening for Tad (remember grunge?). I didn't know of Clutch at the time & can only apprerciate it as a memory that wasn't what it could have been.
