  • What a charming man. :)

  • Ed Greenwood is a glorious nerd indeed.

  • Thank you for Spellplague, 4E, destruction of accursed neverwinter and death of mystra! Thank you very much WotC and Hasbro! Hasbro was always my favorite company and now WotC is my another favorite company. Forgotten Realms was saved fom mystrean filth and is now one of my favorite settings.

  • @Narania234 Do you know what they're doing with Neverwinter? They are making a game that ties in with the Drizzt Neverwinter books. There is little info about it so far but it sounds like GuildWars to me. playneverwinter com

    wizards com/dnd/Feature.aspx?x=dnd/feature/neverwinter

  • @chcknutsck It will be R.A. Salvatore's city then as Salvatore is the creator of Drizzt Do'Urden, Jarlaxle Baenre, Artemis Entreri and Obould Many Arrows. All these characters of Salvatore are awesome, unlike obsidian's crappy ,,characters''. This obsidian's neverwinter , it was something exactly opposite to the real Forgotten Realms. Scum of obsidian wanted to exterminate everyone, which is Chaotic. Anyway, obsidian's tyrannical lawful evil nevewinter is dead, gone, no more and good riddance.

  • @Narania234 Salvatore didn't Invent Obould, Wizards asked him to use the character.

  • @BewilderingSin If you say so. Do you certainly know about it? Wikipedia claims that Salvatore is his creator. Anyway, Salvatore is the greatest author of Forgotten Realms novels, that's or certain. Salvatore's novels (Legend of Drizzt, Sellswords and Transitions )are liked even by people, which hate books involving Mystra and her minions. Spellplague was a change for good for FR. Only complete fools can throw away the new Forgotten Realms and play in crappy shit known as pathfinder.

  • @Narania234 Yes I am, He says it in The interview about 'The Orc King' look it up on youtube. I agree, Ra Salvatore is a great writer.

  • @BewilderingSin Correct, Salvatore is THE GREATEST author of Forgotten Realms. Only James Lowder, author of ''Prince of Lies'' is comparable with Salvatore. Do you know who exactly invented Spellplague and mystra assasination by Cyric? I admire WotC and Hasbro wisdom, Spellplague is the glorious event. Cyric and Shar are my favorite evil deities since Spellplague.

  • Spellplague is the most glorius event in the history of Forgotten Realms! Accursed Mystra finally dead at last. Azuth, Savras, Khelben, six of seven whores are all dead. Hooray! Krehlan BlackstaffArunsun, son of repulsive Khelben was killed. hooray! Tsarra Blackstaff Chaadren, Khelben's heir is dead too.Hooray! Accursed Harpers disbanded at last.Hooray! Cyric and Shar are saviours of Forgotten Realms, they killed arch whore Mystra. 4e ha sthe best plot of all editions of Forgotten Realms.

  • Ed Greenwood rules! Go El :D

  • Ed's writing science-fiction in the upcoming 'Foreshadows: The Ghosts Of Zero' anthology & the book comes with a full album soundtrack! You can hear another great Ed Greenwood interview (with a female android, no less!) here:

  • He always look like a young spirited dude that love what he does!

  • ED Greenwood is the BOMB. Ed's pure awesome. FR is the best setting since Tolkien.

  • 1:15 "Rules, officer? Are there rules?"

    Ha! Glorious.

  • I've enver Roleplay in my life, or evenr heard abot this "game" But damn... this man is so... Different, he really admires his world!

  • Wow, Ed Greenwood seems like such a kind and jolly guy!!

  • About two years ago i started writing a forgotten realms book. I got about 6000 words of quality writing.

Who thinks i should keep going?

  • Nah...

  • @RadDudeTurbo ok thanks

  • @citricsystemz Well if your a idiot you would stop.

  • i never knew ed WAS elminster lol

  • im a gamer and enjoy every bit of it

  • Greenwood is a badass!

  • damn why are all these gamer girls so damn hot

  • because any chick would be hot if you play d&d... nerd... just kiddingXD

  • god damn, he's always so happy and excited about his world. greenwood owns.

  • Dude, that story about the young chick was awsome

  • love dnd and greenwoods world is great...

    But what a geek

  • As if you're not a geek, eh "Obould"?

  • Dude I am! It's just to an extent confined within the mind... Greenwood is the inbodiement of geekness! I bet he would take as a compliment :)

  • Haha, well, as long as you know it.

  • Ed Greenwood is law.

  • and Order too

  • What a fabulous story. :-)

  • He said 'paladin' weird. XD

  • I have to admit that is exactly how I pronounced it until I was 14.

  • is that the canadian way of pronouncing it? :P

  • @baldur26 must be his Canadian ascent.Heard his "about" ?

  • He also wrote about it in some official D&D Products

  • I remember Ed writing about the Paladin girl story in Dragon magazine many many years ago. :)

  • /bow Ed Greenwood =D

  • OMG!!! HOTNESS

  • I love this paladin story. Its so great!

  • she is so cute...she´s fucking stole my heart

  • cool story about the girl at GenCon. Makes me want to make a trip at some point.

  • Old school FR are the best.

If Ed was not a TSR and WotC writer, he will be recognized like a great writer.

  • first off i must concur... All bow down to the mighty EL.

with that said, Ed Greenwood is one of the best when it comes to this biz, both novels and gaming products. some of my favorites are the old school forgotten realms stuff 2nd Ed style.

  • Ed is such an honestly charming and endearing guy. Always great to see him and hear his stories.

  • She's lucky she didn't get hit on by Ed more than she was; I've seen Ed at Gen Con, and he can't definitely be a dirty ole man at times.

  • Best D&D story ever.

  • well, thats fun.

  • Ed Greenwood needs dice? Theres not a player or DM who would not lend / give him dice from there own collection

all bow down before the mighty EL

  • Imagine the talk after they lend their dice. "Dude, my dice got touched by Ed Greenwood! I'm never going to clean them ever again!"

  • I never clean my dice :P
