I spent a decade as a nurse and one thing we noticed with psych patients and the elderly was that when the sun went down, so did their mentation. We called it "Sundowner's Syndrome". LOL
but did that make them quieter and more at ease, just less mentally active across the board or was it just their rational facilities that went by the wayside with the setting sun ?
This sounds like one time on an acid trip with friends and we started having these "dark thoughts" until someone realized it had turned dark outside and nobody had turned on any lights. Once the lights were on, the mood of most changed to being rather cheery.
