  • You *rock* for captioning. Thank you!

    Great, intelligent, well-thought-out video.

    Best of luck to you!

  • Omg thanks for posting, i can totally relate. I identify as bigender, and biologically i am a girl, and i often contemplate whether taking male horomones. I'm still trying to figure it out too :) I'm only out with some people but not all, most of my friends just think i'm a lesbian because i dress masculine/feminine and have short hair and like girls... lol Yaa Good luck <3 ps you're beautiful :D

  • Thank you, I'm flattered. Don't be afraid to take your time and figure yourself out more before feeling like you have to come out to everyone or transition. You may find transitioning is what you want; you may find that it isn't. Either way, you're allowed to wait and find out. Take care and good luck with everything.

  • thats cool i respect that. thanks for posting

  • I appreciate the honesty in this video...as well as the intelligence and honor. So often we are all in a hurry to do everything. How wise for us to know in our hearts that there is no rush. Time IS on our side sometimes.

You have a responsibility to yourself....period.

  • I'm glad to see more transguys posting that they don't have everything figured out...that they question their transness. Makes me feel less weird...more normal...okay with myself. Thanks for posting. Stonebutch blues is next on my list.

  • Yeah, I definitely know what you mean. It really does help to see others in the same boat. Listen, if you ever want to talk or anything, feel free to send me a message. This whole not having everything figured out can be kind of scary and lonely sometimes, but there are a lot of us out there. Oh, and I highly recommend Stone Butch Blues. Just remember when you're reading it that there's a happy ending and it's beautiful until the last page (even though it's really sad at parts)

  • In an ideal world it shouldn't matter whether you say he is cool or she is cool. It works both - and it can keep changing but always you are meant: Julz is cool!

  • What do you think about gender-neutral pronouns, for those of us online who are comfortable saying/typing them? And which ones (if any) would/might you like?

I'm quite attached to the idea of comparing gender to sets of numbers. Male and Female are like the Real numbers; extending infinitely from one side to the other, like male and female, with stuff in between. But then there's stuff outside the complex numbers, such as "i", the square root of -1. Also, it's fun to say "I am and is complex."

  • I support gender-neutral pronouns 100%, but I don't think I want to use exclusively those. Honestly, I sort of enjoy people mixing it up every once in a while and using any pronouns. So in sort, yes, you may use gender-neutral pronouns if you know them. You may also use he and she. Right now, I've decided to not worry about the pronouns so much and just figure myself out. Yesterday was my official "time out" and while I'm still going to do a lot of thinking, I'm not allowed to worry anymore.

  • Thank you for your comments, by the way, both on my videos here and on my person channel. I send my gratitude and best wishes your way.

  • I also love your insight about complexity. The more you discover about gender, and life in general, the more diversity you find. Coming to terms with all this is what I find amazing about life. The gender spectrum is just one way our understanding of people and the world is limited compared to the immense possibilities that surround us. I discovered a lot through philosophy and Buddhism, but any curious mind can see what I've seen, and there's so much more to learn! Peace.

  • Thank you for your words of advice. Permanent transition is certainly not anywhere on my radar at the moment, this exploration is too important to rush. You're right, it's amazing the different ways gender can be embodied and expressed once you start paying attention to that sort of stuff. Anyway, take care and let me know if you ever want to talk more about this stuff (or anything else, really).

  • I want to commend you for having the courage to be honest and come out about your gender confusion. Many people go through a period of gender confusion. Some always search, and some find a place they can be comfortable in. The key is finding it in your own time. Please wait before going through a permanent transition until you know its what you want. It could take years, but the journey will be worthwhile. If you want certainty, you may come to accept that nothing is for sure, or you might not.

  • You don't even need to decide on one or the other. Thus, GQ.

  • strange but though i m totally sure i somehow also have the same with the pronouns best wishes
