It is truly impossible to be a real big fan of both the novels and this series. The books are damned near phenomenal; the series is something more like Sorbo's Hercules series.

@kayele you see his body moving upwards charging the kick but you do not actually see him jumping, when he kicks him in the next shot his foot is on the ground so i doubt he jumped.. and its not just the movement, its the whole picture, here it is just*fighting fighting slow motion kick fighting fighting* there it was *THIS IS SPARTAA!! kicks badguy in the giant pit of death* i doubt anyone remembers this kick, though pretty much everyone knows king leonidas's kick

Thanks. I've noticed the last 10 episodes have had lot less fight scenes in them compared to the first 5. So I haven't really made any updates.

i love this tv series despite it differences from the book. i love both of them!!! kahlan/richard make such a great team when their fighting togather. and they are an amazing couple :) the episodes keep getting better and better. kahlan is played perfectly! richard could be bigger but i think the guy that plays him is good.

Those 300-style slow-motion fight scenes drove me and many others insane! They were so annoying. So happy they took them out or at least reduced them by 90%

There have only been 7 episodes total, so as soon as it gets up to episode 10 I'll do 6-10 fight scenes.

I could definitely do some of them to music like my star wars vids, it's one of my favorite things to do.

true, though be interesting once he gets into D'hara then where like 70% of population is blond hair then. doesn't look too bad of an series, only grief i have with the series is that Richard has no damn beard which throws me off. =/ o well minor detail.

Makes sense; it's filmed in New Zealand and a good portion of the population is slightly darker skinned and dark haired. A good portion of the stunt extras that they would get (just like LOTR) would fall into this category
