  • @skatennathan

Your the 'dumb ass'. Don't comment on something unless you know what you are talking about. That is a spoonbill or paddlefish. They are not rare here in Missouri. We have a 45 day fishing season for them where we can keep two per day (if of the correct length).

  • that is a beutiful fish, why are they endangered

  • looks like a shark-whale-swordfish to me good thing you released it these things are sick

  • That's not a catfish... It's a paddlefish but still good to see them around yet

  • I've actually seen them for sale at my local fish store..........but it'd be pointless to try and keep one.

  • is that a boat ? shit looks like a dock ... its all rock

  • @kayu38 I think thats carpet

  • they are not even related to catfish they are closer to the sturgeon I looked it up

  • Dude what song is that playing in the back ground ?

  • group red- start again

  • There is nothing rare or endangered about spoonbill, I catch at least 100 every year when they run up river. They can grow to 200 lbs, The bigest i have seen in person was 98 lbs.

  • u have to be the bummest person in the world if u think that is a cat fish that there my firend is called a paddle fish and there notendangered

  • spoon bills arent that endangered in ok we catch them every april

  • idk shulda just catch unhook as fast as you can and throw em back in like sharks if they stop swiming they will die

  • this man is asshole he let the padle fish scratch on the floor.. fuck you!!!

  • lol thats was a baby padle dish a prehistoric fish...

  • GOOD JOB RELEASING IT i hate fishermen who catch rare fish then eat it or sell it. THere should be more people like you who release such awesome rare fish

  • How big do these cats grow?

  • hah thats funny i never new they were rare cuz thats about all we cetch in the river behind my house...

  • This fish is no longer endangered. From what I read last time captive breeding programs have been successful and they now flourish.

  • Well in the state of indiana keeping .(NOT CATCHING) Big differance there.. Will cost you $5000 bucks and or 2 years in jail.. But most just get probation. or the dnr auctions off their boat or what ever personal property they have at the time. So go ahead and keep those spoonbills although they are GOOOOD EATIN..

  • if its rare u should hav taken it 2 envirmetalist 2 mak mor or them so they dont die out DDDDDDDUUUUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • you should have givin it to some fisheries people to breed it

  • never seen one that small

  • i caught 1 of these but it was 50 punds nd it was as long asthe boat across

  • Not a sturgeon, not a catfish, but a spoonbill not rare not endagered, very common in these parts. Sometimes Illegally harvestested for there rowe. Eggs!

  • The "SPOONBILL CATFISH" is actually not a catfish, but it's a sturgeon

  • dats a paddlefish

  • did the fish die or just dive to the ground? sorry for the mis spelled words

  • Lived. If you see the video the fish swims under boat and disappears. All of this I put in slow-mo.

  • where can i get the music at?

  • Itunes. Goup is called RED and the song is called Start Again.

  • Those spoonbills can get BIG REAL BIG ●/
