There is nothing rare or endangered about spoonbill, I catch at least 100 every year when they run up river. They can grow to 200 lbs, The bigest i have seen in person was 98 lbs.

Well in the state of indiana keeping .(NOT CATCHING) Big differance there.. Will cost you $5000 bucks and or 2 years in jail..
