This story wont get much attention from the media because the shooter was black and even though he probably shot some white officers there will be no mention of "hate crimes".
As you see with the arizona shootings the media loves it when a white man is to blame and they have Dateline NBC specials and 24 hour coverage.

@themeaningoflife38 2 officers shot the suspect. One only wounding him and the other killing him. They both were black. The officer that wounded him was shot along with three other white officers, another black officer entered the lobby of the station shooting and killing the suspect. The black police commander that engaged the suspect was shot in the hand and back at close range with a shot gun, but survived. Several of his fingers were blown off which disarmed the officer, fortunately the

@themeaningoflife38 other officer walked in just in time to shoot the suspect in defense of his colleagues life. All the officers survived.
