I just finished building a woop ass computer using the Antec 900...very nice case...it grows on you but the only down fall is...the side window sucks real bad..i have the intel Q 9550 with a Danger Den waterblock and the Asus maxunis Mod with the onboard chipset waterblocks and the BFG 8800 oc wc with its own waterblock also and a8 gigs of OCZ reaper with the cooling fan...and with there window you cant see dick so i cut that baby to the max added crome trim and a new window...Man what a diff.

Depends on the store. Most stores don't have as many choices as online retailers do. That's what I loved about going to CompUSA. It was like a "Toys R Us" for geeks. Their stores are all closed down now. Bummer. :(

why is it that every pc build i watch on youtube the tech sets parts on top of the anti-static bags that they pull the parts out of? What a anti-static bag does is pulls static from inside to the outside so basically setting the parts on the outside is a bad idea, once in a while it will burn your butt...

Get the XFX or Evga 750i. Its around that price and overclocks great, also supports sli, older motherboards like the 650i and 680i are great too but you need an older cpu to update the bios so it can support the e8600.

This system is pretty similar to what I'm running, except im running a xeon dual core 3.0 oc'd to 3.15, and crucial 8gb ram. 8800 gt from xfx their crazy nice one, it's nice, but yeah i love my p5nd and just in general it's a nice rig. sick to see sum1 with something similar.

it might be cheap but it dosent mean its good the processor is only a dual instead of quad and with most games quad core optimized, you will be behind, 2gb ram isnt very good, 4850 is decent, but your cpu is bottlenecking the performance of this card, its all about balance, you cant have a 4850 and have a cpu at only 2,7ghz and its only dual core,because your graphics card will be working ahead of the cpu,so your cpu cant render at the same speed the graphics card is dishing the texture etc out

Believe me. Save up the money and get a E8400. I was in the same exact situation you are in right now. I consulted various tech forums to help me decide to get an E8400 or hardcore OC a E5200. No matter what you do, the E5200 will not catch up to the higher CPUS. If you OC it that hard, you will be killing the CPU's lifetime, and eventually, within 6-12 months, you will need to get a new one.

It's wasting money if you want to get a cheap CPU and plan to get a better one after.

On newegg, the retail version comes in a big blue box w/ the stock cooler. he bought the oem version(cpu only) because he has an aftermarket cooler(arctic freezer 7)
