hey i have a weird way of throwing frisbee when i am playing with my friends for some reason when we are playing ultimate frisbee my normal backhand gets really far but i throw it like the air bounce any suggestions???

When I moved to Chicago for college, I had an awesome airbounce that had taken me about a year to learn how to do perfectly ... and it took me all of a day to realize how worthless it was in the wind.

Brodie's bang on: airbounce looks cool, but very limited in-game use.

i disagree. I have used this throw a lot and has been responsible for lots of sneaky assists. Its not good all the time but on occasion it works really well and looks fucking awesome ! :)

You should take an Ultimate match and do a commentary over the different throws they are doing, why they are good for that situation and stuff and also say what they are doing wrong.

@brodiesmith21 Could you make a video showing how to quickly transition your grip from backhand to forehand and vice versa so that in a game it doesn't take tons of time to switch grips and make it obvious what throw you're going for. Thanks!

if you perfect that shit you can totally utilize that in the game. just cant bounce it that high. its a more effective toss when you keep the it low and bounce it below reach.

Been playing frisbee for 5 years and am about to start playing in college. These videos are still incredibly helpful for me.

You should make videos on various strategies actually in the game, e.g., cup, various stacks. When to run them, analyze which ones are better, etc.

I learned this throw when I was still new to ultimate because it looked cool. I now regret learning it. it really messed up my backhand, especially my hucks. My backhand is super floaty now.
