@GodzzzSon Actually, "Jesus," is the English translation for the Greek sun god, "Zeus." "Christ" or "Christos" is the Indian sun god. Considering the idea that all matter is the result of harmonics/vibration/music would lead us to the conclusion that there are some "sounds/words" that destroy and some that create. With that in mind I would be very careful about calling the Word Made Flesh "Zeus" in any language.

@phdequipped Like I've said before. Bible Scholars have concluded through historical research that Jesus was translated from the Hebrew Yeshua, then from greek to English. The funny thing is Christ gives his name power because Christ means anointed. Jesus never had the name Christ until he was baptized and was filled with the Holy Ghost. Trust me, the Lord cares more about what you're doing for Him than speaking His name in Hebrew.

Bring it up and they'll run you right out of their church as they chew on their ham sandwiches and pray for mort-gages. "What you're doing" includes "what you are saying." Change that law and that "god" becomes something else.

Jesus isn't our savior's correct name. Not even in English. If we wanted to convert the name of Christ to English it would be Joshua. However many people have come to know Him as Jesus Christ. His name is very important, but much more then that is His message. Don't be so absolute on things that aren't important.

@Kumtekmeon The name Jesus comes from merging the Jewish god YHWH and the Greco-Roman god Zeus. This notion came about based on a similarly successful idea that was conceived by Ptolemy Soter I. His idea was to merge both Egyptian's Gods (Osiris and Apis) into one (Serapis). Thus, this was done as a means of peacefully merging two warring religious factions. Merging the god of the Jews, YHWH, with the Greco-Roman god, Zeus, may well have been an attempt to duplicate Ptolemy Soter's success.
