A nationality is just a legal thing. Why do you think people carry their father's last name? Exactement, because you are what your father is. I know she's not born in Lebanon. There are a lot of Arabs in Latin America, but still they are arabs and proud of it! That's why her father gave her an arabic name. According your theory my kids will be half Dutch and half French, lol!! Eventhough I was born in Holland, I speak Dutch and I have Dutch friend, it does't define my nationality.
