I LOVE THIS! I have shown everyone and anyone who will listen!! This is the best version I have ever heard. The harmony is STELLAR! I posted a video of me singing it. I sure would have loved the harmony =-)
this was cool..even though i'll be honest NOT my personally taste..but this is our history folks..bluesgrass.. or moutain music.. american roots ...like moonshine and huntin' dogs
James Jones is still singing around North Georgia but he is not with a band. It's a shame. Doyle Lawson should get him back. He played with Doyle as a fill in in the 90's.
This lead singer, James Jones, who is he playing with now? Does he have an CDs out? I'd love to hear more of his songs and buy his CDs. He's fantastic. If anyone knows, please post a comment or reply to me. Thanks.
If that is James Jones singin, Please tell him i said he does one hell of a job on this song and i wish i could do half as good, this is one of my favorite youtube videos! Beautiful !!!!
Third tyme out, look out!! I have been listening to bluegrass for years and play the five string, you guy's have got it. Never heard this song bluegrass style, sounds great.
Great Job. Its nice to see a singer not trying to sound like the original artist. That ruins it.I like this version better than the original.Thumbs up from Kansas
Absolutely fantastic. To see & hear young guys playing traditional country & bluegrass music to this caliber is amazing. The harmonies are fantastic. If you guys aren't playing for a living you should be. The only thing missing is the front porch. Amazing!!!!!
GENTLEMEN,nicely done. I could tell you were careful not to ruin a good thing. Dueces on the redo. A slight tendency to drag in some of the lyrics, JC ran it a little more crisp. But overall, not too shabby. Good tune, good message. Polish it up and I bet yall could hit it solid. dot-dot-dot, hold the dash, dash, dash. chop it at the end of the line. good group, good presentation to the folks. keep it up. Nice choice for a project, give credit to the man who drug it to the table. god bless. -Lt
I was so happy to find this video on YouTube, I had wondered what had happened to Barry since he left Quicksilver......Good song -- sounds great......I treasure my picture I have of me and Barry....Does he have any CDs out yet with this new group?
