Basically that they transfer energy between them, creating cap that way. So spider tanking for cap :) Its quite common.

now i just dont get how the carriers with 5 reps stay running, i see them needing 2 incoming transfers on EFT to keep all 5 running or they'll cap out within minutes. im guessing just a ton of switching transfers onto the ships who need them but a few delayed reactions and it could all go wrong quick

@Historybuff44 As carriers in large fleet battles are primarily used for their capital RR, naturally a good one would be the nid because of it's remote rep bonus. The thanny's bonus is to drone damage, which is meaningless for tanking and repping.

The archon is like the thanny, but has a mid slot swapped to a low slot, and has an armor resistance bonus, so the archon can get the best resists of all the carriers, meaning it can tank much more than a thanny.

@benso99 Don't forget the role of Command Ships. You need to make a Damnation in EFT (including mindlink for the pilot) and add that in EFT's gang options. Then you also need a combat booster. That'll take you from the 12416 you have now to the 20k region. And T3 can give even bigger bonuses than Damnation.

The "Clarion Call 2: Pantheon" is the single best EVE video I've ever seen. It REALLY needs subtitles, though, because between Princess Aricia's accent and the background noise/music I could only catch about half of what she said, and I WANT to hear it because RnK are fucking brilliant.

Regarding implants: NeoFeliSha lists some good ones although there are others too, especially those not wearing slave sets.

Regarding FCing: Both the Pantheon fights in the full video are FC'd by Lord Maldoror/Alazais from his carrier, the Ertoo one is collaborative with Anubis, Zuldjan and LM/Alaz. No dread alt stuff was involved here though, purely carrier, maybe in the next one it'll be back again.

as in FDN, Lord Maldoror nearly always FCs the big fights directly with carrier and dreadnaught alts at the same time, I think the last video had a pop up window for his dread alt, in this one they just use carriers
