what the hell people, juturna happened and is still happening, but they aren't to focus on one damn album...on letting go would have never happened, or blue sky noise AND I ADORE BLUE SKY, or this, and this is what I drive my vehicle to from work, so soothing. damn whiners
i heard this song for the first time when i saw them this weekend! the part that starts at 4:13 gave me the chills and almost made me cry. circa survive is absolutely incredible.
i f*****g love that they performed this song when i saw them live in pomona. now when i listen to all their songs it gives me a sense of nostalgia <333
best band ive ever come across before, an avid listener since i was 7(2005), i plan to get a safety camp symbol tattooed on my wrist in honor of them, proud to say im a circa survivor(:
@guitarraplayer12 I've been listening to Circa Survive for a very long time respectively, Philadelphia native here. I think the dudes in Circa would say there's a lot of other bands worth listening to, the Mercury Program being one of them.
@nicksteeleuk yes i agree and mercury program is awesome. but when i listen to a band i listen to their music and i don't compare to others. each band has their own special something ya'know :)
@guitarraplayer12 I am not comparing the Mercury Program to Circa Survive. I am saying the influence can be clearly heard. Further, I don't believe every band has their own special thing. All things take material from the whole and return re-worked material to the whole based on the currently available material, this model is still true for music in my opinion. This also goes back to the age old debate of what is authentic and what is original.
@guitarraplayer12 That being said. The fact that Circa Survive has their own something special "to you," is something that no logic or psuedo-logic can ever take away from you. The relationship that the fans create with the music seems to be the main reason people continue to listen to Circa anyway, and perhaps that is something special in itself.
@nicksteeleuk it seems so. but loving a band and becoming a fan is something that connects to other's personalities. the songs that people love and the bands that make them, are developed through the emotions that they feel. people are different. all songs are the same in some way
Action existed full of desire. Out of the action came everything in existence, visible and invisible. The action took on human form existing among man showing his fullness of desire.
This is a beast EP, and their last album was beast too. On letting go was also really good. Not a MASSIVE fan of Juturna but its got some good songs on it too.
Juturna, to me was by far their best album. Blue Sky Noise was good, but theres only a few songs on that album that are really amazing (Spirit of the Stairwell). Either way, I love circa so much and I'm digging this song.
circa is so god damn genius. its a feeling of happiness. circa makes me feel at home. circa is the air i breathe. its a wonderful moment. its the time i spend with the girl of my dreams. its the genuine feeling of being. its almost as gorgeous as the day i was circumsized. =]
This and blue sky noise i believe are more of the "joyful" albums you could say, cause the music just sounds more fuller and warming. However old circa will always be why i fell in love with this band
@omariscol247 No, this EP is like the most amazing thing ever. I like all of their albums for different reasons; On Letting Go is just amazingly ethereal and takes me places, Blue Sky Noise and this EP just have this touching feeling to them and such an energy, and Juturna is a bit more raw but still amazing. I don't think Circa Survive will ever put out any music that I don't thoroughly enjoy.
@Shaman21000 Wow dude your not much of a fan the because Blue sky Noise was probably the best cd iv ever heard! Every song is as Amazing as the next! Greatest band hands down!
@jeromybrandt actually i am a fan just not a big one of Blue Sky Noise, but i gave it a second chance and its slowly growing little bit on me. Also I do agree, greatest band!
@Shaman21000 the more you listen to it the more you understand it, the album is supposed to be a journey... at first i didnt realise it and now it is my most played album ever! its pure class
I love their album art, on all of their albums
