She did "Look What They've Done To My Song" and another great tune called "Brand New Key" - A brilliant artist with a phenomenal voice..still touring and singing to after 40 years!!

It takes a lot of anger to go on stage & make up a song just to draw out the menfolk. At least 3 LA cops beat up a Claudine Longet lookalike & arrested her for killing a not so dead Spidey. When Melanie went into court the girl's brother couldn't even find a lawyer to defend her. The girl was unconscious in a cell which Mel visited with blood coming from her mouth, ears, nose and rectum. So Mel changed clothes with her & did the best she could to explain a murder that didn't even exist.
