I don't know the Doma Vaquera style but it is the old Haute Ecole(High school movements) he teaches these on the ground without any tack just a cordeo around the horses neck at liberty and sometimes with a lunging rope connected to the cordeo. The way he applies it in the saddle is amazing!. Awsome collection and fluidity. He rides with just the cordeo(string around the horses neck)
Pumpernickel is great. BUT, the funniest thing about this video is that he has dropped and gets sexually aroused during training, and MOODYMARE doesnt even notice!
Hard to be sexually aroused when it's a gelding.XD He probably just had to urinate more than likely and was just waiting to get through with his work.
Whoops sorry! Guess I didnt pay close enough attention and mistook the swinging in the breeze for something else. Funny video, Pumper nickle is cute. FYI, geldings can and will on occasion drop and look just like a stallion. A gelding that is clipped later in life may still display stallion like behavior, and will even cover a mare.
What breed is he??

yeah it is a tad far but you can be a member on his school forum and learn it there.

what style is it? Close to the Doma Vaquera?
MoodyMare1 4 years ago
He's in Russia. Alexander Nevsorov. Nevsorov Haute Ecole is his training school. He has a website and school forum where you can study.

Russia is a little far *g it is hard for me here to find someone who teaches it in the saddle.

That very Interesting. The movement you got pumpernickle to perform looks very much like a movement for the Nevzorov Haute Ecole School.

where is that? I am a HUGE fan of the Doma Vaquera and old iberian classical training including their ground work (which this is a part of)

A gelding drops because he is relaxed and not because he is sexually aroused, that is why he is a gelding not a stallion *g

Lol! Mine does it whenever he needs to go to the restroom. He'll wait until he gets through with working to go.:XD:

LOL when he needs to go he will go, even in a moving horse trailer. But he doesnt drop that far when he is peeing than when he is relaxed.
