  • i dont think thos girls even visited sudan before they dance and jump over the stage Shigiaa will stop dancing if they watching thos dums represent

the culture of Shwiga in American ways

  • LMFAOO,

I am not trying to say the actual dance is bad because i am sudanese.

But I know the dance and can do it way better than these dancers, they suck.

  • Great performance. upload some more sfcorp

  • This dance is older than Abraham & the Abrahamic faiths. It wasn't considered whorish until someone who follows the religions named it as such. It's called the BRIDE dance, instead of the WHORE dance, for a reason. Africans, keep your traditions alive & well. Don't allow non-Africans & Africans who are brainwashed by them to dictate to you what you should be. Be what the Creator & your ancestors envisioned you will be; while they built empires & created arts, sciences, maths, etc...

    Peace!

  • I love the song & the dance is very beatuiful very artfull, I wish I am in a sudanese village way north in diar al shageea .

  • WHY ARE YOU GUYS SITTING HERE AND JUDGING PEOPLE? ARE YOU ANGELS? ONLY ALLAH CAN JUDGE!!sobhan allah u guys talk as if ur free of sins.just by u saying what ur sayin ur full of sins.

  • brides of the nile - yes keep doin ur thing. people need to know this.

  • She could've made her point by using better vocabulary. Her english is horrible. "Some people think it's very low"...She could've said some families are not fond of it or something. Oh gosh. But I adore the dancing! I'm so doing it for my wedding :D

  • بالله نحن لسة بنستعمل كلمة خادم؟؟؟؟؟ اقص عليكم اطوروا حبة انعل ابو الجابكم

  • this dance is not supppse to be called as bride dance it must be called traditional dance...

  • answer me plz

  • this is gonna be on my favorites-list ONLY because for the song:)

  • BTW they cannot DANCE AT AL!!!

  • haha worst speaker ever, great dance nevertheless

  • please presenter, dont talk on belhaf of all Sudanese, Sudanese dont do this dance in front of everybody, it is very private

  • al '7adim al btgdm dii mino plz ?

  • LOOOLZ that what I was thinking...its like she is giving us a bad name!!! she is a pimp Not that I mind the dancing honestly its just she is not bein truthful about it!!! hore

  • hey take it easy. no need for that kind of language. if u dont like this one then just turn it off. no one is putting a gun to ur head and makin u watch it. Peace

  • That is not the point ( my persoal disliking of the dancing bec. I don't really min it) what I am complainning about is that stupid presenter that is misenforming audiance about the bridal dance & portraying it as cultural)! and btw I am free to use whatever language I please this is a free website ;)

  • I know it's a free website, but still have some class ;) I can't see how the presenter is misinforming the audience, everything that she says is true. And how can this dance not be cultural? did it come from outter space, because it's certainly not religious. Peace

  • She is misenforming the audience by intentionaly omitting the fact that these dances are very private ( refering to the bridal dance) and it female only event except for the 3arees clever! and no calling her a whore is not vulgar becuase the word was invented for ppl who behave exactly like her! :)

  • Not long ago there where parts in Omdurman where the bride had to dance infront of both female and male audience(not just the 3arees), so with other words the dance was not so private.I haven't said that calling her a whore is vulgar. That word doesn't stand for people who behaves like her,but for someone who receives payment for perfoming a sexual act. And this lady havent done anything like this here,so she doesn't deserves to be called a whore:) Peace

  • love the song

  • good evening.. how come i've never seen shows like this in my stupid state.. :(

  • How come we don't have more of these things over here in my stupid state lol ?

  • i agree with yusra

  • LOW LIFE young women. Ma banat nas, bridal dance in PUBLIC! PHYSICAL SKILLS, what in the world!

  • SCREW ALL YOU GUYS!!! this woman is smart as hell and i am glas she did it!!!! not only is it not prostituting its the fact that women from sudan shouldnt be isolated from sharing culture to other people because stupid fags like you guys disagreeing, (the person who said is chid pornography is retarded cuz they are all over 18)

And who said you have to watch you haters...

signed: a smart person named yusra....if you have a problem deal with it

  • This is a very important show because Brides of the Nile at one point during the show they stopped and addressed Colin Powell who was among the audience. They spoke about the tragedy in Darfur and asked his office to do something for the darffurian victims. Colin Powell decided to visit Darfur after that show. Thanks to Brides of the Nile for making art works for peace and justice...

  • So that means they have shaken their butts to Colin Powell and the he had decided immediately to go to Darfur hum...True "Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah, that is the (only) Guidance,""

I think your approach is most horrible than your kids dance

  • now ican say it's nice one showing our culture thanx.

  • I love this songs...

  • Okay, and why don't you guys have these cultural things when I'm visiting hmmm? : )

  • SudaneseAmerican, that performance was in the DC/VA area at the Carter center if I am not mistaken

  • which state was this is?? because the lady talking in the begining I know her from the Sudanese parties in Virginia..

  • good
