I use Pak or Paki to conserve space (due to a 500 character limitation). I have often had to go back and remove or shorten words...and one of the effective ways is shortengin Pakistan to Pak, Pakistani to Paki.

I think pakis in this forum are just disgusting. Ghalib lived in India. Urdu still thrives in India (you have to only look at thenumber of urdu papers and periodicals from India) though it isnot as popular as it used to be. Urdu is spoken by ruling elite of Pakistan. Only about 5% of Pakis speak this language. And pakis have not given even one good song in urdu in their movies. Shame on u pakis. U blame British. Nazruddin sha is excellant in this serial, is he still acting??? wonderful man, this was my favourite serail when I was in Delhi, so beautiful, also if you have " Mungerilal Ke Haseenom Swapna" please post it, this was telecasting in doordarshan during this time, 18 yrs back

You can buy DVD's of the serial in US. I did the same - this has to be one of the best serial's ever done by Indian Television. Gulzar-Kaifi Azmi-Naseeruddin Shah is a matchless combination.
