Does there have to be a head that sticks out of the dash? That would just distract people.

There's nothing this thing promises that we don't already have. Monitor fuel, check; driving directions/suggestions, check; look at your kids(?!) got a mirror, check; traffic monitoring, gps has it, check.

Having its head pop in and out like that might cause distractions, hence, road accidents. What would be cool, is if it can take snap shots of car burglars and relay the car's location to cop stations via its gps signals.

What it needs to do is tell you how fast you need to go to avoid red lights. :)

It would be useless to me. I can't imagine needing a helper like that. It seems to me I know where I'm going. Maybe other people don't pay attention, but I know how much fuel I have. Actually, I don't know anyone who runs out of gas. This seems to me a waste of time.
