@dansowtus You obviously dont know about diesel tuning boxes the one I have is from Diesel Tuning UK the biggest manufacturer of these and they are very good they r not cheap rubbish which you can get that do fool the ECU these r bad and will f**k up your engine. I did a lot of research into these before purchasing and would not jepodize my car with cheap cack!!!!! These are also recommended in Total Vauxhall Magazine.........

score man. i think im gunna get one of these SRi's. They look sick, sound sick and and pretty quick for what they are. Nice sound on the video dude its not too loud which is good and it just has a nice tone to it. Loud exhausts on these shitty 1.2 Clios that chavs roll in are just stupid sounding but from a nice engine with a nice exhaust you get a nice sound. 5* mate
I can tell you i HAVE 175 BHP at my wheels standard and im making 0-60 in 7.5 I know for a fact id smoke your pissy little vauxhaul your not goin to even get close at top speed 2.0 vectras get left for dead . If I modified with a turbo, exhaust ,air filter and ecu id be making 300 bhp no problem. ive alreaddy had sri 's off there no problem and golf tdi 180 bhp gave me a better race he was behind me till 70 mph where as the sri was gone at 50mph

Why don't you both get a clue, and take your cars to track days. Racing has NO place on the public roads, because you've got no idea if the drivers around you are as clued up as you think you are. Wise up before you kill someone else.

I've had VTEC in an integra and a CRX and i have to admit yea they weren't bad..... but you're limted to how much you can really do with it.
Difference with the SRi...which by the way is a 2.2 not a 2.0 is that no only was it originally meant to be family/company car but you can do so mcuh to them. i have spent about just short of £900, removed air con, electrics n pwr steerin n i get 148mph n 5.8 0-60 :-)
BUBZ there is no way that your making 200bhp at the wheels even with your gay little chipped box or whatever plus your car is much heavier and standard is only 9.8 seconds 0-60 if you have the 147bhp model maybe 9.0 seconds with your box..
got the same car and same mods but wiv a cam regrind ..love the car and the noise it makes
