  • Hey, I'm making a zombie movie. It's trailer is out. Check it out please.

    Oh, and cool video.

  • I prefer this one than the original...

  • u can see how zombies became more athletic through years...in 60-s they were walking like they took a shit and in 2000-s they are runing like chetoos

  • Patricia Tallman is probably the hottest person I ever seen.

  • This film didn't need a preview/trailer.Word of mouth will keep it CLASSIC for years to come.

    Director Tom Savini...GREAT JOB!

  • Wayy better than the modern pansy teenager zombie movies.

  • so let me ask certain so called critics this question after seeing this trailer here...

i guess John carpenters The Thing. Tom savini's night of the living dead 1990 and cronenberg's The Fly (1986) all were remakes that sucked balls and remakes shouldnt be done? or will your mind set change to "well remakes arent bad unless they are put in the right hands"...ive been saying that shit for years since my parents schooled me on some horror movies i thought were fuckin original in the 80s

  • i saw this movie when i was a child... it was so scary...

    but now..it's just a movie...

  • old school horror movie. hell yeah:)

  • Actually, she's running for her life.

  • It's always welcome when a remake at least tosses in a few new wrinkles. The brother who gets killed in the cemetery at the beginning looks exactly like the nerd who died in the same scene in the 1968 original, with maybe a little more hair to account for thirty years. Coke bottle glasses have a way of making many men look alike.

  • @sportshistorybuff The guy that says "They're dead, they're all messed up." Is the same one in the remake.

  • I remember watching this on VHS with a couple of friends; in an old rundown RV with a bottle of MadDog, a space heater - is was a very cold late October night way back in 1992. Good times, good times

  • I remember watching this on a cruise ship... Or acting like it on the lido deck with my friends causeing everyone to scream XD

  • Probably the best remake of all. Got my copy autographed by Savini Todd and Tallman

  • @slasher1087 I'm so damn jealous! how is Savini in person?

  • @slasher1087 how I envy you!

  • Nice movie :)

  • cuz it's a thriller!thriller night!

  • I remember watching and recording this on HBO back in 91. Good memories..

  • @ZombieScenario

What about The Thing, The Fly, The Hills Have Eyes, Dawn of the Dead, Toolbox Murders, Piranha 3D, Blob, Cat People, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the Ring etc.?

  • when i saw this movie i was like 10 years and i loved it!!!! 11 years later i still love this movie!!!!

  • childs play, alien and tom savini's night of the living dead were the movies that scared me so bad, that i could finally watch any horror movie and not be scared or even startled

  • hey folks!

great movie i love it... watch our music video to "Night of the living dead" on our channel. We are a austrian punk band... the music video is called "Die Nacht der lebenden Toten" this is german and means "The Night of the living Dead" enjoy

  • HEY! my brother's a zombie.

  • "GOD DAMN YOU!! GOD DAMN ALL OF YOU!!!!!" -Ben

  • No pack a punch?

  • this one of my fav. classic zombie movie

  • Love zombies

  • this is my very first zombie movie that i watch when i was young!!...it scared the hell out of me!......i didn't sleep the whole night!....heheheh!!.......this movie is great♥

  • 8 people are assholes

  • I thought was great movie

  • Why is it that as soon as somthing is in a cod game it becomes famous he did exiies before cod this is just to people who think like that not to be othencive

  • Omg George ramero and call of duty ahhhhhhhh

  • 0:08 is that willem dafoe?

  • is this theprequal of return of the dead the guy who made this ad sound the same one voice in return of the living dead

  • When your bitten by werewolf or vampire at least you get stronger...you get bitten by zombie your fucked...plus you would stink something awful...

  • @squigg2k7 You're also dead..

  • This remake was as pointless as the remake of Psycho. I'm not saying it wasn't good. It just wasn't necessary.

If you're going to remake a movie, do just that. REMAKE it. don't make it an almost shot-for-shot rehash of the original.

  • @donniedarkodevotte I would say that making the heroine in this movie a strong survivor instead of the helpless, stereo-typical female victim (as in the original movie) ranks it as something more than just a "shot for shot remake". The overall atmosphere of the remake is, of course more contemporary, and the violence more potent. The original is a classic but the remake was very well done in its own right.

  • @musicfromhell

Now Psycho was an example of HOW not to make a remake as it was just a carbon copy clone. Now Dawn of the Dead with The Thing and other remakes did something different.

  • I hate this version...

  • Just a ninety- fied version of the original

  • @Thelonesniper101

What about Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead?

  • I AM NOT into remakes at all, and YES, ORIGINAL IS BEST BUT....THIS REMAKE WAS AMAZING! way way underated, cause this remake was simply a gem! if you have not seen it yet, WATCH IT....

  • @elsoda Did you like John Carpenter's The Thing?

  • @thatdoomguy666 absolutely..that is another gem...and I HOPE THERE IS NOT A REMAKE!

  • @elsoda You do know that is a remake right? And it has a prequel coming out October 24.

  • @thatdoomguy666 oh my god, you right! i have never seen the original version, i really should. but i though john carpenter's is a classic in my opinion....let me check if theres anything on the prequel...

  • @elsoda I absolutely love The Thing. One of my all time favorite films. Kurt Russel's the shit. I actually know him too, my mom's friend is actually his cousin. Been to cookouts with him, great guy to talk to.

  • @thatdoomguy666 and (sorry for the comment) but he is hot as hell too! is he really down to earth and nice? Thats very cool u got to meet him. what about goldie? u met her too?

  • Comment removed

  • @elsoda No I haven't yet. He's really cool though, very down to earth.

  • original is the best.

  • 0:20 Peyton Manning Zombie!!! LMAO!!!

  • great remake...

  • Grüße Fräulein, Sturm-Verbot-Führer, It can kill

  • i can't wait to kill the george remoeros in call of the dead

  • @postnjam hahaha thats why i looked this up to

  • I actually watched this before I watched the original Night of the Living Dead and no offence to George Romero, but I think this one is definetly the better film.

  • @CannibalSushi3 the original is a masterpiece

  • i watches the old one

  • i liked this movie, scared me a little bit when i first watched it when i was like 4 years old, but after i watched it again i thought it was funny becuase well technically scientificully zombies can not funny, i thought the zombie at 0:18 was funny though he's my fave

  • Obama voters!!!

  • @TheKeating77 They can't be Obama voters, because they're dressed like hicks. :)

  • 0:18 Doofy from scary movie :3

  • awesome remake...so underated Savini is the man \m/

  • I can not belive you guys how can you even think this was a "ok" movie its the worst zombie movie ever ever ever!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU PEPOLE THINK THIS IS ENY GOOD HOW vote me down if you want d'ont care!

  • @theretrogamerno1 i can believe how you guys think this was a really good movie, its the best zombie (remake) movie ever ever ever. i can see how people think this is eny, or im sorry, ANY good. i love you guys :D

  • I can not belive you guys how can think this movie was even a movie it makes all the other crapy ones look GREAT vote me down if you want don't care your all nuts!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Waynezocritic1 Screw me?? screw you too

  • 0:19 was defonately a special zombie ^

  • Liberal zombies, Nice!!!!

  • 1990 this was 4 years before i was born lol

  • @iGoDZoFLuiGii DAMN DONT MAKE ME FEEL OLD I REMEMBER WHEN THIS CAME OUT

  • It's interesting to see so many responses from people who liked this remake. I personally don't care for it, but there's plenty of films I like that a lot of other people hate too, like "Halloween III" and "Kingdom of the Spiders." To each his own.

Anyway, even if it's not that good, it's a classic compared to the god-awful remake of "Day of the Dead."

  • I LIKED KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS ITS A CULT CLASSIC

  • I think the sound was a little off from the video

  • come to texas we all have guns when my mom was in the hospital's ER she told me to go get her water from the nurse station then I overheard nurses say "she is dead I know I checked her and she has no pulse" then the doctor said they where going to give her an MRI to confirm seriously I was scared

  • this was a good ass remake. i enjoyed it as much as the original. why do so many people say it's shit?

  • The best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I bought this movie on DVD several years ago and I have no regrets. I have it uploaded to megaupload if you want to download it.

  • One of the better and more underrated remakes.

  • @TheAltair4

It is a brililant remake, i rented both the original and remake when i was 16 and loved them. Dawn of The Dead 2004 was another good reimagining in the series but Day of the Dead 2009 was a clunker.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, i'd rather forget about the awful Day of the Dead remake. lol

  • I've seen this and to me it was kind of funny! :)

  • Good movie no Perfect movie but has anyone noticed the sound is a little earlier than the picture?

  • is this movie any good cuz i looked it up on Wikipedia and the budget was 4 million and they made 5 million i don't judge movies based on gross ratings just on reviews and what the audience thinks of the movie

  • Why didn't Savini ever direct another film?

  • THATS REALLY A REMAKE :)

  • I wanna know the music at the start it is sooo freaky quick if you get me? And I loved this remake! There are very few good remakes or sequel's :( But this one is great! :D

  • @SuperDirtFoot you may be confusing between zombies and INFECTED people, those are the fast ones I mean like "28 days later"

  • love it

  • 0:19 yup that is a "special" zombie

  • @INDUCEDINCINERATION legit laughed out loud. thank you.

  • this is how a horror remake should be. Not that there should be any at all, but seeing as we can't stop them this is how they should be done.

  • is this good /scary? cos i'm not a fan of the original

  • @TheDayfornight its ok but theres alot of stupidness cause the blonde and her boyfriend are well DUMB

  • @carbonfootprintmyass ahh k thanks

  • Too bad there are no more Knights and Samurais. They would not need a gun and still own those slow moving zombies. Armor and a Sword or Clothes and a Gun??? Mongols would just destroy the land of zombies with their cavalry. Ninjas are just too fast for any zombie. Zombies would be too scared of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris but they would be just too slow to run for it. They can't bite through chain mail. Even the zombies who can run just chop off their head unless their arms and legs have mouths.

  • OMG! 0:20 mean

  • I love this remake more than the original. I love how Barbara transformed into a strong individual unlike the way she was in the original. In fact, the one that played Judy Rose in the remake reminded alot of Barbara from the '68 version.

  • When Does This Movie Come Out Looks Awesome Cant Wait

  • @mustang94015 lol, can u read? this is old movie u dumbass

  • @thenipsuli I was joking dumbass

  • @mustang94015 it came out in 1990

  • is it out yeT?

  • What's the difference between this and the 1968 Version? And which is better?

  • @TheSuperplex1001 This version had an alternate ending different and a few twisting event different from the black and white version. In able to not spoil anything for you, in the original all the main characters didn't survive whereas in the remake one of them did (not telling which one though).

  • its out of sync but still a good trailer

  • Thought that it was the Halloween theme song when that first zombie appeared...

  • Életemben nem láttam ilyen rossz filmet!

  • love classic zombie movies

  • I like how the trailer claims it's Romero's...when its the Savini remake..

  • @seanist Well, the script was his at least. The characters look a bit more cartooney in this version. Like they're charicatures of the original cast.

  • Released in US theatres in Oct.1990...Happy 20th anniversary of this remake,"nineties style".

  • I love the orginal Night of the Living Dead movie. However, this remake from 1990 was very well done. Thanks for loading it for us.

  • This remake was brilliant.

If it wasnt for that blonde girls screaming for about 15 mins i wouldve enjoyed it more.

  • @superjoel01 I really wanted someone to slap her during the movie.

  • @born2rockhard LOL

If i was around in 1990 i wouldve done it for you.

  • @superjoel01 True, I get that she's scared and freaked out but Judy Rose was SOOOOO annoying.

  • @superjoel01 Ha ha! Exactly what I thought... and the stupid scene at the gas pump... but, shit happens when the zombies are following you!

  • @maticellouy Lol. Exactly. She cant do anything right. lol

  • A decent remake, but not as good as the original.

  • 0:17 he looks retarted

  • Released in theatres in Oct. of 1990...happy 20th anniversary of this "remake"(nineties style).

  • @TheXtro101 I remember seeing it in the theatre when it first came out too. I went in not knowing what to expect, and the twists and the ironic ending left me somewhat satisfied at the time.

Be that as it is, this movie was definitely sanitized and made R-rating friendly before it's release. And despite the little suprises in this version, it felt that something was missing.

  • my favorite zombie movie

  • One of history's very few decent remakes.

  • this is the only good remake ever made and is one of my favs

  • erotic version is. night of the living bed.

  • sucks that mosley died so early into the movie

  • @caseyrmma365 That was the way Russ Streiner died in the begining of the original. I too was hoping that Jonny would have had a different outcome in this one, but by and large, the remake DID have some serious twists.

  • @Shawnster65 yeah, I was kind of disappointed. I've actually never seen the original, but i'll definitely check it out. Which did you like better?

  • @caseyrmma365 Hmm, in terms of sheer fright and originality, naturally I'll go with the 1968 one. But for updated makeup, and more variety of zombies (and realistic depiction) I'll go with the 1990 one.

The zombies in the 1990 one looked like they died in the middle of daily activities, and from a variety of causes not related to the dead themselves. This made it more believeable. That, and the unorthodox twist ending there was too. Noone seen THAT coming...

  • sucks that mosley died so early into the movie

  • the original is very god and scary buth i dont know abouth the remake well i tinck that the trailer is god

  • sheeit those zombies are so damn slow i could just walk:P

  • I have 3 different versions of the original on DVD: Millienium Edition, 30th Ann. Edition, and the Colorized edition, and I also own the remake on DVD, and I think that both of them are excellent.

  • What's funny is I like the remakes of Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead a lot better than the originals, and I watched the originals first. (The original Day of the Dead is way better than it's remake.) To me Tony Todd sold Ben in this movie. Barbara isn't bad either. My problem with Romero is that to me he seems a little too preachy. His movies may contain 'social commentary' but I never viewed them as anything but a good horror film. If I need social commentary I can read a book XD

  • might be the best remake ever

  • @slasher1087 Agreed.

  • my favourite zombie film, the zombies are totally realistic, why doesnt any film makers nowadays have the balls to make an original zombie film, none of that runnin zombie shit, just swarms of slow ones like in this.

when resident evil came out they shuda kept it like the film, it would of been 10x better than the shit they've came up with, their just films with the resident evil name!!

  • amazing music for a trailer.why cant movies now have a score like this??

  • okay, the zombies that walk slow as shit and go, 'muhuhuhuhhhhh' are NOT scary. it's the FAST motherfuckers that are actually frightening. the ones you actually have to watch the fuck out for.

  • @kelsxrunsxthis

STFU Night of the Living Dead is the best zombie movie of all time, no question. All zombie movies out now are so predictable and stupid. Exept Zombieland lol

  • @Halo3jonny i wasn't dissing on the movie! the movie is awesome. i was simply stating that the zombies that scare ME are the fast fuckers. and i love Zombieland. hahaha.

  • @kelsxrunsxthis

    ok sorry lol

  • this looks more light "well lit " of the living dead

  • Night .. of the Left 4 Dead lmao

  • Best zombies movies of all time, Resident evil and Land of dead or whatever it's called are garbage.

  • omg the zombies walk so slow... i would just out run them... duh

  • @noppe7 What... Forever, without getting tired DUUUH!

  • 0:20 That retards head would pop nicely from a 12 ga shotgun.

  • 0:36 I hate it when people shoot from the hip. Use the sights you ball-less pussy! If I had a few boxes of ammo with a lever action rifle, I would kill every last one of those bastards. I'd drink a half bottle of whiskey, walk right up to them and pop their retard heads wide open from close range and laugh. I run marathons, the zombies are so slow I could run circles around them all night. There'd be nothing to be afraid of! I would relish having zombies around to kill.

  • I've never understood why some people make such a big deal of the impossibilities of a zombie that runs. You're more than willing to accept the dead actually move in the first place, see with dead eyes to spot a victim and somehow need to eat flesh even though since their dead they can't actually digest it, but running is where you draw the line? Really?!?

  • Honestly, I don't think this remake is nearly as scary as the original. The makeup on the zombies isn't very good, and Romero's b/w original had something difficult to define that made it seem real. Time to quit making remakes.

  • they look like some kind of a motherf*king injured vampires. ahahhaha peace.

  • This movie looks like such a joke now compared to the newer zombie movies out today.

  • it depends on when the corpse died whether they run or not

  • The best Zombie movie period!

  • does frankestein's monster pass as a sort of zombie?

  • @gasmask120 Yes, I believe so.

  • @gasmask120 I don't really think so........

  • the zombies that run are called zawmbeez.

  • i wish that zombies would come:) i would kick ass!!

  • YES CANDY MAN KILL DEM ZOMBIES HAHAH

  • this is the by far the best zombie film ever created i mean other then this and couple other zombie movies are wrong zombies dont run they do not climb they do not carry weapons they dont do anything but walk real slow eat well its not realy hunger its just them eating you and moan so other zombies can join on "the feast" i know my zombie survival guide do you?

  • @roach3988 Technically though, if people are to accept Romero's zombie mythology as fact for all zombies then we must accept that zombies CAN use weapons and CAN run.

The very first zombie in Night of the Living Dead used a brick to smash a car window and did plenty of running.

  • @Keith6720 well put... guess so but still...

  • @Keith6720

i wouldn't personally think they would if they were real be able to smell or see or hear once their bodies were rotten. and going with the zombie survival guide, the more a zombie exerted itself i.e running, long-term it would disable them because they wouldn't be able to heal it's muscles, they could probably run while freshly deceased but not after that i don't think, blood would congeal and block everything. and i don't think they would last alot of time because of necrosis.

  • @IamDaReAlSeaN I absolutely agree with you that zombies wouldn't be able to run. The reason I wrote that post was because so many people say that zombies shouldn't run or use weapons because it doesn't happen in Romer's zombie movies - which is incorrect, because in Night of the Living Dead we get a running zombie, a zombie using a brick as a weapon and a zombie using a trowel as a weapon.

My post was simply to show that Romero purists are contradicting themselves.

  • @Keith6720

well, when IT comes, we'll know what to expect then lol

  • @Keith6720

You are correct. There's also the scene in Dawn of the Dead when Peter encounters two zombie children, and both of them are very fast and quite agile.

However, I think you could make the claim that in Romero's movies, the zombies may only be fast every once in awhile and only for a short time after they've been re-animated. The running zombie in the cemetary the beginning of NOTLD was likely a corpse that had recenly died and was in the process of being buried...
