I've never been this angry at the State before. I have cut back on gasoline big time, cars now on "no Op" Status, and I'm not shopping for anything but essentials.

Result, less taxes for me and more of a problem for the State. Bussinesses that I used to purchase from now out of Bussiness. Is This the Response they wanted?, I'm not alone. TAX REVOLT Alive here, remove taxes and I will Shop again. ------THOR

This is great. We got the benefits of a 2 day weekend in the Great Depression, - for the same reason. When the economy improved, the 2 day weekend stayed on. Friday furloughs - at least everyone is still employed - and a 3 day weekend. Everybody knows most of us could get our work done in 4 days. Come on workaholics - kick back and enjoy!

They get every possible holiday off now as it is. Why not a couple more days a month? From what I've heard the state has doubled the size of government workers in the last 10 yrs. These are hard times, everyone needs to cut down. At least these workers are guaranteed their jobs, unlike the private sector.

Poor state workers have to have furlough Friday because State politician can't regulate the income and revenues of this State and pass a budget. Sad. Very sad indeed.
