Guys im just playing the original wow, i yet have to buy the burning crusade and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.. but right now im playing with most settings high except shadows low (makes my fps drop in ALMOST half)

when in StormWind or a city i get 40 - 60 fps when im just doing quests outside it usually gets to 57 - 60.. but imagine if i install the burning crusade and wrath of the lich king.. and i play WoW with the 2 expansions. Will my FPS drop? or wont it be any difference?

Depends on how much memory you're using & hardrive space. It shouldn't affect you're fps at all because all the new content isn't loaded all at once. So, nope.

Why even post WoW? It uses the least amount of graphic power... who cant play all on high? I hit 70-100 frames all high using my old 7950 KO... which is years behind the new cards.

That was back then, but loads of things changed in WoW. The shadow textures are the main problem. These days you need some kick ass stuff, my advice: geforce 8000 series or higher. (or something equal to that from another brand)

Yeah agreed, now that I just started playing the expansion. I can play maxed, but I get like 30 fps is graphic intense areas (btw using 9800 GTX overclocked). Its still playable but not 100% smooth. I think they ruin WoW for the people who could just barley play it before the expanson came out...

After the expansion, your now going to need like the 280s series to run those frames in graphic intense areas. i use the 9800 GTX overclocked (which can play crysis very high) and i start to drop into the 30s in tough areas. Stays around 70-80 fps anywhere else tho. (everything maxed)

I think there's a point in WoW graphics where you hit that "top" video card which really gives you the highest graphics you can possibly get. Maybe higher FPS with a 9800 GTX+ (obivously), but textures, etc., I think the highest card needed stops way below 9800, would you think? Not intended to be a smark eleck remark or anything. I'm being literal. Thanks for the video too :)

Great game, you're wrong. Yes, it gets boring. Cancelling till WotLK. Yes, outdated graphics, but they're planning to upgrade the graphics soon. Not in WotLK, but maybe with the next expansion or something. I've never heard of Blade and Soul, though :( I tried Warhammer. It ROCKS, but I found that I like WoW just cause of the lore. I love the game's background; it's like a story book. :P I don't know what the ending is, yet. One way to find out, though. ;)

good... 1st of all it don't lagg with Fraps... but the one problem is - WoW don't need 1337uber Vcard. it can simply run with 6series nVidia cards (only prob is - Exodar;Silvermoon and NE capital is lagging...). that means you can play normally with 7 series nVidia cards...

Wow is very very fast with this card. Without vertical sync (wow video settings) the fps up to 120-160
