  • good way to get rid of a pest is to use vaseline on their toast. don't ask.

  • My sister told me this song "kinda sucked". She didn't know she was fuckin' with the Flaming Lips. Never make fun of someone now, they could grow up to be as big as the Flaming Lips. ;]

  • @NoelleNabob my sister told me that she "kinda fucked". i didn't know that she meant that she was suckin' with her Flaming Lips. Never make fun of someone now, they could grow up to be as big as my sister ;[ . sorry, couldn't stop self.

    Thanks,

    Your Friend, James :)

  • @JamesThong

    "Papercut suicide attempts" (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!)

  • @dvolk1988 I know a faggot, who writes comments on Youtube. He's kind of a retard and kind of a boob. He probably gets raped, by his dad and he bleeds out his anus I bet he wish he had, some VASSSSSSSELINE.

  • I can see why Cobain liked these guys.. great band very awe inspiring

  • never gets old.

  • It's unfortunate that this song is their only hit. At least so far. The Flaming Lips deserve better. And this song only went up to #55!

  • @eliultimasora well said, my friend;)

  • my bro uses a lot of vaseline also.

  • i think i like the live version more than the studio version. this rarely happens.

  • yea very rearely but when it does happen you know you got a good band on your hands.

happens with 311, not that live is always that much better but on the same level.

  • Song RULES!!!

  • I'm so happy to see so many new Lips fans emerging. =] I love Wayne so much for using the Lips as a vessel to make the world a happier place. To the person who asked what album to get first, start with "The Soft Bulletin". Then, get all their other albums. =D

  • Ben Folds Five did a great lounge-sounding cover of this song.

  • how does she not use jelly if she uses petroleum jelly

  • shut up... hehe ;D

  • @bwilk2001

hahaha you're totally right, nice snag

  • I could have sworn this song was called either Tangerine or Vaseline ( though I lean more toward the former) so it was really hard trying to find this song again a few months back, but I did.

  • you're right

    cant find it

  • vasaaaasaline

  • nice, a non-live version

i swear this song had a video clip though. am i wrong?

  • You're not wrong.

  • the only way to hear this song is live all the way

  • Man, it's cool to see solid music getting picked up by major labels again like this was back in the day.

  • The sound of 1993 - so nice !

    :)

Today's stuff ain't got no soul

  • its true (and i wasnt even alive in 93)

  • Amen to that. We hardly get good music these days. All these artists care about is money, so we suffer so they can make a buck.

Back in the day (A Tuesday if memory serves) we'd get soulful songs that sounded hundreds of times better than the BS we get today.

  • have you heard 'do you realize' in the new merrill lynch commercial?

  • I don't know about older. I hardly hear a dang thing I like anymore, and today's artist is more concerned with their bottom line than the fans.

But if that's what you think, then that's you opinion. I'm a little old fashioned, and I like music made for the fans, not for a couple extra bucks.

  • @spystyle or sound

  • This song takes me way back

  • this song is fucking amazing!

  • i know, right

  • it's true all versions available are live...this is the only one that isnt...thanks :)

  • +1 i agree

  • good quality, not live... thanks!

  • Ah thank you very much, I was looking really hard for a crisp quality version of this song song.
