  • Thanks Scoobydizzle

I've always loved kick backs but people always gave me shit for doing too much RoM. But if you say it's alright then that's good enough for me!!

Also nice idea with the elbow down

  • just wanted to say thanks for all the videos and advice

  • alllll the way!!!!

  • Hi Scooby. I love all of your video's and i respect all your views and tips, im 16 and from the UK i love watching your videos and I find them helpfull on nutrition, health and good form... I do wonder though, do you ever find that your right arm gets bigger than your left from all these demonstatuion videos? :P

  • Up and down, up and down, up and down, my triceps is going up and down, up and down all day around

  • This burns so good, I've never felt my tri's like that! Thank you!

  • Love your backgrounds, BTW. Birds singing...green grass, etc. Just FYI... :)

  • go up and HOOOLD

  • why would anyone dislike his videos?

  • He always enjoys himself while giving us valuable info. What a hero

  • I love Scooby's "Bad Form Videos" because you really see people in the gym working out like that! It's soooooo funny!

  • I saw this video the day you uploaded it but just added them to my triceps and chest workout and this way certainly is a lot better, I used to do it on the bench and can't say I enjoyed doing them as it always felt awkward this way is the way to do it.

Thanks for the great tips scooby.

  • ignore this faggot and just do skullcrushers

  • I see that you are an engineer. Did you exercise often when you were a student? Engineers have the most workload out of all students. I am struggling just to go to the gym 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I can only go twice, so I have to do shoulders and arms on the same day.

  • Great form.....Awesome lawn. Scooby's BB knowledge is outweighed only by his Lawn Care skills!

  • This has so improved my bi's and tri's even just using low weight thanks scooby !!

  • All the wxayyyyyy!!!!!!

  • Hundreds of people taught me wrong, Scooby taught me right...

  • Nice tip with the elbow high Scooby. Thanks.

  • i love u scooby, :)

  • Wat protein do u take

  • i didnt get what he means by flexing at the end ?

  • You are great and doing bad form!

  • Great Video!!

  • your peter zane?

  • thanks scooby !

  • scooby for president

  • @DiscoRByrno

Close grip bench press or push-ups, overhead extensions, skullcrushers, dips, and press downs. Aim for 8-10 reps where the last 3 are difficult.

Triceps adapt and grow well if you hit them from different angles with intensity. Make sure you hit all three heads and focus on the weakest area.

They get lots of work when doing chest and shoulders, but hit them 1X per week alone too until they catch up. I have to hit triceps really heavy with volume on arm day at this point.

  • Scooby is a very nice guy with some very good advices but he is on juice! there's no way at 50 you can be that big and this guy is getting bigger every year haha he is for sure a juiced monkey and he doesn't want to admit it! there's stupid newbies who think he is clean because they don't know anything about bodybuilding but anybody with a minimum of knowledge will say for sure he's on roids! just because naturally there's no way you can reach that physique

SCOOBY IS A ROIDS MACHINE ASK HIS HAIR

  • @captainsliyah3 do your research before you even try to sound smart.

  • @captainsliyah3 you are retarded

  • @captainsliyah3

Are you serious? Nothing about his physique screams roids to me. He is a diet and lifting perfectionist. This is what 20 something years of dedication has gotten him.

  • Great vid. I just started doing these a few weeks ago and have been wondering what the proper way to do it was.

  • ALL THE WAAAYYYYYYY :D

  • i love it when he grunts and growns hahaha nice job!

  • @captainsliyah2

Stop trolling. Scoobys been training for 30 years, u probably weren't even born and he was weight training. So stop spamming him u wasting his time

  • Thanks Scooby,

Sometimes I forget to slow down. I must remember to let the muscle do the work and not the momentum.

  • Scooby why are you lying? you are on roids and you don't wantt o admit it, why?

i know it's hard for you but how can you follow your advices if you are not honest about you and the juice?

before you used a lot of cycles and right know you are just on test every weeks because you don't want to loose your big muscles !!!

  • Do you expect little kids to watch this?

  • Do you ever wear a shirt? lol

  • I heard that these aren't so great for your elbow joints. True?

  • @SnapDIzzl3 any workout can b bad if you dont know how to do it,+ adding extra weight than u cant handle will resunt on a fail

  • @Dragrealpk648 u can workout everyday as long as you work different muscles everyday let the muscles you already worked rest and when ure not sore anymore then u can work the same muscle again;) WTF a little bug just crawled down under the keyboard on my laptop lol!

  • @scooby1961 hi i have a very important question for you i see that in this video you are using light weights did you use that amount of weight to obtain your body with a lot of reps and constant training or do you use alot of weight with little reps?? and would i see a difference if i did more weight and fewer reps compared to less weight and more reps??? Plz Reply !!!! and plz thumb this comment up so he sees it plz and thank you : D

  • @SuPaSuPeRmAiN he only uses light weights because its easier to demonstrate... he probably uses alot more, but dont sacrifice form for weights or you wont be getting the best burn.

  • ergghh! these are killer! it feels as though you need smaller weight for this exercise. about how many reps per set are you supposed to do?

  • Does anybody know what brand of weight scooby uses? I am looking for a good adjustable set like he has.

  • Be my grandad :D

  • Very good / from brazil

  • @Dragrealpk648 You need to work out every other day. When you work out, you're tearing your muscles. You need to give them time to repair themselves!

  • i think this exercise is waste of time ....dips , skull crushers and close grip bench press are enough .....other triceps exercise are not very effective

  • @a68593 u must have hella workout plan

  • Hi Scooby.Thank you for uploading all these educational videos. I have learnt a great deal. Will you be uploading video on how to deal with muscle soreness, using ice to reduce muscle ache and things related ? There are times people experienced all these & your advise will help people like us greatly.

  • scooby how much weight are u using for camel kickbacks now? just want to know for reference

  • scooby you are a nice guy with some good advices but in all your videos you forgot to talk about the juice you used and still use

  • Yo Scooby, the arm up ~45 degrees almost seems like it is going past the torso into hyper extension.

Besides working the 2nd function of the long head of the triceps, doesn't this also make it a good accessory movement for the rear deltoid?

This seeems like a move that would add balanced development to the shoulders as well as the arms since we work the back there too, since most of us have front delts and biceps that are too big by comparison.

Do you ever go lower, like rest head on floor?

  • scooby what is your diet? and do you use powder shakes(if yes what type? whey? how many per day?) how many times per day you eat? do you drink POWDER energizers? how many times per day and week you exercise?

i want to lose a bit fast weight and get "ripped"(not big in muscle but just sculpted if you know what i mean)... about 2-3 months of hard-work. What should i eat? Can i drink protein shakes? How much per week&day should i work out if i wanna lose weight fast in 2 months

  • Hey Scoob I just want to say thanks for not blasting Linkin Park or big beat techno during your vids...thats what most of the workout vids on Youtube showcase. Keep up the good work.

  • Super Groovy Scooby man, keep up the great info.

  • scooby you should really change the thumbnail picture, cause it looks like your pulling something from your ass.

  • I would like to meet the 17 persons of dislike bar. Really

  • I think if we had more Scoobies the world would be a better place. I mean if more people wanted to give back and help others without waiting for some income or other compensation, just the act of giving back makes you feel better in my opinion.

  • Can any experienced bodybuilder answer?

Scooby lifts very light weights and he says to those weights to be able to do a right form, but is he really that big from these light weights on videos? Or is it just weights for showing?

  • @mcrishTV Not sure what you'd call experienced but I'm 24 y/o 6'5" 225lb (leanish but could be leaner). I believe you can get DOMS even with lightest of weights when using the best form with the slowest reps. I think Scooby has got big this way combined with good nutrition. Remember there is a lot of difference between a body builder and a power lifter.

  • @mcrishTV

pretty sure its just light weights to show

  • @mcrishTV yeah, he's just doing this to show form. he overtly said in another vid that he only uses light weights for demonstration. if you want to build muscle mass, you have to use heavy weights (heavy for you) at lower reps (6-8). <-- don't cheat if you go this low rep amount... that 6-8 assumes that you *can't* do another one. if you can, up the weight.

  • @mcrishTV when you demonstrate something and you talk the same time you cant really focus on pushing hard. Take a look at his other "Chicken Press" video and you'll see what he means /watch?v=GkQ_PH7CDoU&feature=relmfu . And you can not get bigger if you dont lift heavier and heavier every time, otherwise your muscles just gets used to it, so theres no "in-advance-build-muscle-so-it's-easier-next-time". lol. peace.

  • Thanks for the vid Peter Zane :)

  • @hello5425 Silly goose, just follow scoobys website -- you can start by doing the beginner plan. Read all of his website - easy as pie!

  • scooby is so funny when he mimics bad form hahaha :)

  • Great thats the easyist thing ive learnt thanks ;-)

  • Deadlift video please!

  • Great tips, thanks a lot :)

  • so when i started working out i only did biceps. now my triceps are are really small compared to my biceps. what do i do to have my triceps catch up to my biceps?

  • hey scoobybrah, i see your using really light weights for this exercise, is this just because it is a demo or are such light weights really enough for someone your size in this exercise?

  • @thegoodboy it's just for a demo -- when he does the full weights he really needs to focus and you can't focus while doing a video recording!

  • Hi Scooby, Mahalo for ALL of the advice you give us and CONTINUE to give. You are EPIC!

I am a member of the "ScoobyNation"!

  • @scooby1961 hi scooby , I wanna really know of what you think about Passion4Profession? because I follow the steps they mentioned , especially in chest workouts and abs workouts , and I often feel that they are effective( except sometimes when I am tired to workout ..). Thanks.

  • I think Hans should give us some lawn care tips.

  • in a Zombie Apocalypse i choose scoob... he is an Engineer, and Very strong.. basically has brains and brawn..

  • lol i love the dolphin form! Now that is what I call a workout! haha just kidding scooby :)

  • sexy

  • the grass really is greener on scooby's side of the fence.

  • hey guys check out my channel

  • i did a tricep work out yesterdy like this but i just bent at the waist. this is much better way, thanks again.

  • That sir, is one well kept lawn!

  • How do those compare to dips?

  • Why does he remind me of Mr Incredible?

  • Losing Weight Is hard, I Know Because Ive Been Attempting It For Over A Year Now and The Only thing That Worked! Was The Video In My Channel Check It Out!

  • First of all, thank you for posting all the wonderful workout tips, and all done with a smile on your face.

Now on to something slightly different. You would need to be living in a cave not to have read or heard something about Arnold Schwarzenegger recently, however my question is...

I have seen pictures of Arnold recently with a flabby body, do you think that the photos are real, or just superimposed compositions by some jackass?

Now's to try those triceps exercises.

    Again, thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperGulloden Being healthy isn't a "once and you're done" type thing. If you quit weight lifting and watching your nutrition of course you will get flabby. You should not be working out just for the looks - but for the way it makes you feel.

  • @gmoonit

Exactly. Sure its great for the way it makes you look, but if thats the only reason you train odds are you will fail long term. Attention from women is great and intimidating other men is fun when you have an Alpha personality like I do, but you have to want to lift for yourself or goals you have to stick with it. Sure you can get in shape short term but why?

I love training. It clears my head out & I am 100% in control. Tonight is arm night & I am literally excited waiting for it.

  • Scooby should start selling his own hat collection.

  • gotta love that 3:03 sounds

  • Ive just been inspired to start working out.

I thank you for your videos :) They may just change my life :)

If you have any tips for a slightly chubby 29 yr old whos just starting out, then please let me know :) Ive subbed and will be watching closely :)

    Thanks SOOOO much X JAO

  • I can totally see a dance remix at 4:08 ... Thank you for these videos!

  • keep pressing 5 to see scooby whining

  • Sir scooby, one last request: If you don't like my previous idea then could you do a motivation video again? but for example, my family doesn't eat healthy. My dad is pure carnivore/sugarholic and has only developed his chest and bicep, my mom is on a water diet but eats a lot at midnight after sleeping pills and my lazy lil bro is so spoiled that he eats pot pie everyday and my grandma just eats bananas for her vitamins. I am powerless when it comes to giving them advice. Too much of pride.

  • If you work out biceps substantialy more than triceps will you get disspraportionate looking arms? I work triceps of course but I still work alot of biceps becasue I want to develope that really high cut off point where the bicep reaches the inner elbow. I started working out about a year and a half ago and I'm 16 in october.

  • seems like an isometric back shoulder and neck workout to ?

  • so have you ever been to a gym? or do you just work out at home?

  • love the humor and this guy :-))))

  • hey scooby, i believe i have seen all of your videos but i have never heard you speak about midnight protein. (getting up in the middle of the night and consuming protein, or any foods.) what is your stance on this? much appreciated

  • hey mr scooby, i am 16 years old and i am as slim as much you can imagine. some people call me clothes hanger and some chicken less bone! my bones are more visible in my body than muscles so do you have any exercises which can help me? [ i take good diet ]

2nd problem, my legs are very hairy, all covered with black long hair, so do you have some exercises so as to stop their growth? [ no shaving tips please ] any kind of help from anyone would be largely appreciated. thanx

  • @johnsmith92043 Your body hair is probably that dark because you eat too little. Eat more with better variation and you'll see changes.

  • Just tried these a couple days ago. They worked great. Good pump and major DOMS when done correctly.

  • Great stuff once again Scooby, thanks!

  • I saw a dolphin yesterday in my gym :)

  • I tried doing it. This is kinda hard. i can only do it with 10lbs dumbbell (10 reps)

  • Hi all

I have just started working out. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time.. and since I don't have that much time I only have 3 meals everyday. I do 30 mins cardio everyday and 45-60 mins weightlifting 5 days a week. I would like to know when the appropriate time is to have those 3 meals?

    Thanks :D

  • Im getting in better shape, thanks to you ;)

  • Comment removed

  • What protein powder flavor do you find the most versatile in everyday life? I'm trying to decide on a flavor. Thanks.

  • Hey Scooby you're a real man. I love your videos and your advices are just so genuine and accurate. I don't know why I have to say this, perhaps there're just too many stupid people out there, just wanna to give out some positivity. Peace out there ;)

  • I was wondering if I were to train my triceps would my wrist and arms eventually get bigger/wider?

  • love the work the way you always do in both bad and good forn thanks

  • i find my shoulders hurt when i do this, especially the front part. why?

  • i did this yersterday and DAMN!

i recommend it to everybody who loves the triceps

  • errrhhggghhh, allll thee wayyyyyyyyy

  • No ones physique compares to Goku's lol. That dude was huge on the show lol

  • "Camel kickbacks"... I love that title. Good stuff Scooby!

  • Scooby, is it a bad sign if the muscle you worked out is sore 2 days after you exercised it as opposed to the day after?

I did my deltoids 2 days ago, and my side deltoid didn't feel so great today but was fine yesterday. Thanks!

  • @MrJusnic

Its DOMS and its not bad, look it up. If I dont sleep well (or enough) the night I trained I wont get sore until the 2nd day or if we do crazy sets or a new exercise that isnt common.

Last week one of my workout partners and I were talking shit to each other about wide grip pull-ups. Basically who could do more with him at 205lbs and myself at 222lbs. After doing 8 sets I wasnt sore at all the next day. Two days after he texts me: 'my back is f*cking wrecked', so was mine. DOMS

  • actually i didnt like this workout

  • so after you go up ur arm is already flexing.. so tryying to flex it more idk it doesnt seem like it does much more.. but im sure your right it just seees wierd to me..... so when doing a push up should you try and flex ur triceps??

  • btw

sometimes the question about deadlifts or lower back exercises comes up.

People ask why scooby has no video or/and no exercise about it.

    He has one!

The stiffed-legged-deadlift is one , scooby use it to work the hamstrings but it also works the lower back . If you never tried the stiffed legged deadlift its time now because its a great exercise which strengthens your back and your hamstrings!

  • It was tricep day for me yesterday and I normally do kickbacks. I normally do them with my upper arm parallel to the ground. Changing my form to how you recommend in this video made me really feel the workout, especially the squeeze at top.

  • Hahahahaha the amount of weight he is using is hilarious, especially someone as big as him! :)

  • Scooby, you are a legend, I was talking about you at the gym, evreyone knows about you!

  • very good vid scooby as always.

  • Scooby...your 'bad form' swingin' arms is hilarious...good stuff.

  • Who else thinks scooby has been gaining some muscle lately Thumbs Up!

  • it was weird.. a guy saw me with my butt in the air and he said.. use the bench, you get better range of motion... i was like WHAAAA? cuz my broski Scoob said that you shuud have yo butt in the air you dumb ass now get back to gettting to your pussy work out, im doin the good stuff.

  • @TheVirginGamer Hahaha preach it, brotha!

  • i did this like a week ago and still have DOMS... freaking awesome! ty scooby ;)

  • Comment removed

  • great i needed a video like this thank you

  • Scooby you are the man! Keep it up!

  • You are fantastic. I have learned a lot from your videos" the good forms". And yes, I see people daily at the GYM that they workout really bad and when I tell them, they feel offended! You are funny as well. Keep the good work man.

    cheers

  • I can't wait for scooby's butt workout video.

  • i never knew dumbbells could look so cute.

  • "everybody has got a.... floor.."

  • dark scoobey!

  • i love it when you showing the bad form. It always makes me laught and think, who does this crap.. xD

  • Wow that is some truly lush grass. Almost looks too perfect!

  • alright mate, love your vidoes, engaging and full of decent information.

my only criticism is to ditch those ridiculous hats! haha

    cheers mate! :)

  • Did you move to a new location? It seems like before your location was "Hawaiian like" but now it seems like you relocated?

  • haha Scooby the bad form a 5:20, a guy at the gym does that WITH BOTH HANDS and heawy weight every arm day, and hees grunting like a boar :D

  • Also please discuss, I know you hate but can you do a pregnant celebs going fit again. Like Jessica Alba doing hours of workout after few weeks of her delivery.

  • Please make a video about jumping ropes

  • @KapitanAndoy he already did

  • its so cool having a free internet trainer :) . I learn something new each video, keeping myself on the right path.

  • @pr0z0ne not just free but no cost, no equipment, no gimmicks, has humor and compares the wrong and correct procedure.

  • you remind me of bill nye the science guy, but for body building and excercise

  • good points made in this video regarding correct form

  • I'm peter zane!

  • what did he say at then end. happy feeters day?

  • anything like that (even with the right form) hurts my elbow like an em-effer... for triceps, it's pushups and bar-pull-downs for me.

  • you are such a stud

  • i only do curls

  • lookin big scooby

  • Comment removed

  • Its been awhile since your last video

  • @scooby1961 hey, Scooby :) Your videos are great and it's because of you that I still do push ups in my routine. I believe that push ups are awesome for building strength and mass. I know there are many variations. I have recently been including a variation called the Spartan push up. Do you think this variation of the push up is effective? Seems to be a great workout during chest days in addition to wide push ups. Love your work.

  • 5/5 ***** thanks scooby! :)

  • lol at dolphin method

  • I'm looking to bulk up my legs...particularly my calfs. Will long jogs help me out with this? I'm not really looking for muscle definition...just bulk.

  • the next Arnold Schwarzenegger.
