I'd be interested to know how you managed to repair that worn spindle hole. I have a few old 78's with that problem. Is that plaster or epoxy or something? It sounds pretty good like you got the new hole centered pretty good.
Hello! Actually, this 78 rpm doesn't belong to me. I got the picture and the song off of a blog a while back. Actually, i have never posted any of my own records on my channel, even though I do have some nice old time 78's. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but if you go to Google images and type in Kentucky Mountain Chorusters, you will get this picture to come up as one of the first. That will take you to the website. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a great day, Brian
I agree! They do an outstanding job on this old hymn. I'm glad you enjoyed it Henry, and I hope you have a great evening, and a wonderful Sunday tomorrow! Brian
I agree, they were great! To answer your question about the recording year, I looked it up on the discography charts and it said that this record was released on Gennett in 1929. Thank you for your interest, and for watching/commenting, and I hope you have a great evening, Brian
It is, especially with the picture of the original record. I got both off of a blog that i follow. I believe it is Allen's Archive of Early Country Music. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you have a great night, Brian
