I would like to hope that from time to time Michael Reynolds gets the chance to read some of this stuff. Just in case you do I'd like to say thank you for the inspiration and God bless you.
Yup, I agree that these structures (or something like them) is the future. I also agree that bureaucracy sucks and that retrofitting existing cities is difficult as I am directly finding out. Pittsburgh is bureaucratic hell. Nonetheless, I carry on and I can't thank Michael Reynolds enough for his inspiration (incidentally, we recently re-made a facade involving a bottle wall). Government has to learn to back off and let the REAL problem solvers do their work.
I hope Michael Reynolds succeeds in spreading the Earthship ideas everywhere...If it helps conserve enough energy, the Islamofascist dictatorships of OPEC are done for.
@BeUnbound He already has! We are setting up Earthship organizations all over Europe right now and we have a lot of projects on the way! Michael Reynolds is a true hero!
I just watched the film. I was moved beyond anything I could express in a little youtube comment. Keep up the great work. You are on the right side of a good fight. (Kudos to Aljazeera for promoting the film.)
@keptyeti I'm with you fam. I watched garbage warrior on youtube yesterday and it made me want to cry. I would love to have an earthship for my family and me. mankind I believe is called to be a responsible steward of the planet and insha'llah this is one way for mankind to make tawba (repentence) for the abuse that we've subjected the earth to. Maybe we can turn things around and live freely, independednt of the big oil companies and utilitiy co's.
-- "I'm just glad I didn't kill anybody... you know, fry a baby or something!" <-- my favorite Michael Reynolds quotations... evar! ;D

Amen! I think it's so ironic that the most "patriotic" folks with big SUVs are actually lining the terrorists pockets! I hope this catches on.
