It was all because everyone had to be nice to each other and not do anything stupid so they all made a bet with each other on who could stay like it until 5pm and of course David & Joe (Emily's brother) had to get into the bath because they lost.

David, his character, said something to Emily, his step-sister, about taking a bath in beans if he was wrong, and he turned out to be wrong, so he had to take the bath. Or something. I used to love this show, but I can't remember it too well anymore.
