people simply were too close minded to accept how truly brilliant it was and therefor did not go. Sales were low and they were entering the rough october, notoriously terrible for theatre, so they took decided to bow out and close early to avoid losses.

i was so mad when they announced that it was closing...and i only got to see it once...the matinee after this Broadway on Broadway...except Kerry was understudied...which was weird since she was here...but the rest of the cast was great too
