Yes, there aren't enough facilities for cycling in HK, and definitely the government could have better city-design for bicycle parking space. Yet, it's not quite fair to compare HK with many of those mentioned european cities (except London). A bike is not always allowed on every single-decker bus, and the buses are never as full. Just think of the huge difference in population density. Also, it IS dangerous to cycle on the busy roads in London at peak-hours.
Not only that cyclists should signal upon making a turn, they should look over their shoulders too.
