@TheBetterGame I agree; I also saw this about 10 years ago... Kevin Caldwell was the bomb... <3 :D I remember showing this video to my parents and we all discussed the plot... Then when, years later, I finally got Memories on DVD from them for Christmas I was so disappointed that the actual plotline of the film... Wasn't as awesome as Caldwell made it into.

On the DVD are two other movies besides that one, all are a bit strange, but I like it because the diva looks exactly like my mother, when she was younger^^!

Movie wasn't creepy at all, just the creators style - all of the work I've seen done is "unfinished' to where it has a lot of "loose ends" never tied down.

As for Memories aka Magnetic Rose - it was probably one of my favorites. Romance, Terror, Sci-Fi , hardships, drama, sadness , it had it all.

The work really makes you think... and that's what I love about it. "What if " is hardly thought of anymore... such a shame.

I remember the first screening of this at AX98. The crowd went nuts and it won some prizes.

The guy who made it is Kevin Caldwell. Great amv maker, but pretty much an unfriendly shut-in from what I remember.
