All cynicism aside trust me when I say that on set, they have people who make sure no illegal activities and the best interest of children is overseen. Any infraction is the end of a filmmakers career. They don't play around with this shit.. if they kissed and if Malone was a minor? This was agreed upon ages ago, and very likely negotiated. The intensity of the kiss I attribute to the skills of the actors and nothing more. It's all realistic pretend. It's supposed to be or you won't believe it.
