I know you women will be mad at this. But this was all Peytons fault. First she said no to the proposal. And Second she didn't bother to meet up with Lucas at the book signing.

@coldlynx Yeah, but from where Peyton was standing, it didn't look like that. And plus, he never called her after the proposal, until the book signing. He acted like such a child... They were young for marriage, she needed time... and him...

He needed time to think. Its not that easy for someone's proposal to be rejected. And she didn't call either. So its a two way street.

She acted like a child also. And he did give her time. It was until she ditch his book signing that he finally gave up.

@coldlynx I know, I know, I just kinda always watched this show through Peyton's eyes :-) I find myself much similar to her, so I kinda blame Luke more. I mean to talk about the problem of them being too separated is OK, but to try to solve that problem by a proposal was kinda sign of his unsecuritty in her. If only he told her the problem, they could work it out until she makes sure that she gave her best shot with her dream. And in the end she didn't ever say no... I know, I'm opsessive :-)

That was right after they broke up. Lucas wanted time to think after she rejected his proposal. I was talking about how she never called after she ditched Lucas's book signing. And so what if Luke only called her when his book signing was in LA. He wanted to see her face to face and talk about things. I don't see anything wrong with that. Talking face to face is way better than talking on the phone.

Can these two be any more perfect!? They are hands down my all-time tv couple ever! The love and bond these two have is incredible. They are each other's inspiration and are literally lost when they arent in each others lives...Peyton was "fearless" because she was with Lucas, she had everythhing she needed. He gave her strength and inspiration. Lucas wrote because Peyton gave the same to him..

These two have had some pretty amazing lines :) lovee this scene. As much as I hated them being apart in Season 5, because I genuinely thought they might be apart for good, it was great to see so many moments like this, all building up. I miss the Lucas + Peyton of Seasons 1-5.. their dynamic seems to change in Season 6, I would say for the worst :(

It's difficult to explain, but.. do you not notice that in season 6 they've just become really.. sappy? Like, they're constantly saying, "I love you baby" and other equally silly stuff.. but just for the sake of it? When they were younger there was the occasional line like that, and they all really stood out because they weren't saying them constantly. It doesn't seem as genuine as it did, to me anyway.. I'm sure there's a lot of people who'll disagree :)

@KungxFuuu: I actually disagree. Their dynamics have changed, but I would say for the better. In S6 it's like they knew they would be together from now on, so it's like... ok(?) to make a mistake. U can tell they're at ease with eachother and more comfortable with speaking their thoughts. Before S6 their future was still a bit unsure, so it was harder for them to express their feelings so easily. I guess out of fear to be hurt or w/e... Mán! I'm such an overanalyst *shakes head disapprovingly*.

So true and Lucas had to be totally thick about it, trying to deny the fact that he still loves Peyton. He still cares about her and its so obvious on this episode. But I'm also glad they ended up together, it's meant to be even from the beginning!!
