  • The Dogfight series is excellent.

  • @samspiderpig0,

there are no more episodes being made

  • The Warhawk (Kittyhawk in Australia) was indeed a very effective fighter - for a short while early in the war. Aussie pilots would use them in much the same way against Vals Franks and Zeros. You gotta remember, in 1939, their were many types that still were biplanes like the Gladiator- by 1945 their were atomic bombs and intercontinental missiles! All types were soon superseded with the exception of the Corsair Mustang FW190 Mosquito + others. Even the Spitfire went through some fifteen mods.

  • excellent sideslip

  • 02:03 That p47 pilot just wasted half of his ammonution.

  • The "skid" around 8:40 is called a slip... The move was also used in older planes that didn't have flaps to slow them down.

  • p47 are awesome man, they can take probably more than 500 bullets, and that i think broke the record for ww2. keep it up man!

  • @MBJCHIEN ya i believe they also hold the record for ground attack hits and dive speed ,,, a real work horse
