  • do they make a 2 precessor lga 1155 board?

  • Nerdgasm T-T dear god of pcs

  • Comment removed

  • Can't believe they waste resources making such overkill products :P

  • @Hirotoro4692 for gaming yes for making games no

  • I know its a great computer. But unless you are using it as a workstation is useless. I will have at least 150+ FPS in a every game, max res and details. But is useless if only human eye can catch 60. You will say its future proof, but technology evolves, and by the time the 580 are getting older, im sure new technologies will be developed, as DirectX 12 or else. That power is needed only for workstation and 580 are just for gaming. Real workstation video cards are nVidia Quadro or AMD Firepro.

  • @7omRavenclaw This pc is dog old now but he does use it for work also why is it useless its a hobby some people collect 1million dollar cars some build 15k pc's what's your issue? we can spend our money on anything we want and the human eye can see well above 60

  • @zeansor So? Did I ever said it was wrong of him to pay that sum of money to build a PC? I said it was way to much performance as a gaming rig. Next time, read more carefully, fanboy.

  • @7omRavenclaw Ugh please stop telling people that the human eye can only see 60 frames per second... it's an old internet rumor that's been spread way too much and it's completely false.

  • @oXDesdinovaXo Yes, my mistake, but you might wanna know that LCD and LED monitors works with frequency of 60Hz, so they are locked to show 60 fps. It doesnt moatter if you have 120 fps, you still see the same result as 60 fps.

  • @7omRavenclaw No, >>most<< monitors perform at 60Hz. There's plenty of 120Hz monitors out there for 3D gaming now.

  • can you have 64 gig ram?

  • WTF Do you do for a living?!?! I WANT THAT JOB!!

  • 3:05 Damn you sticky tape!

  • Xeon processors are not for gaming...

  • SR2, is not for gaming, period.

  • Is there a motherboard that gives you full 8 x16. This one is 7 x8 with 1 x16. This isn't for gaming but gpu computing.

  • My 2006 MacPro has dual Xeon's with 32GB RAM and the board isn't this large. Then again if EVGA isn't exactly an experience MB maker.

  • @Snapscape how dumb are you, this is an large mobo for a reason. plus technology has advances since 2006, this is not an extended atx ots larger than that due to chipset and to sustain that many pci express slots

  • @superliontiger12 Usually when technology advances, things get smaller, not larger. My board has four PCIe slots and 2 PCI slots. This is like the ColecoVision of motherboards.

  • @Snapscape You are a typical Mac user... ¬_¬

  • @cyclist14 I use both. My gaming system is a PC (Maximus IV Extreme-Z) and my workstation is a Mac because I have to constantly upgrade when using PC hardware for media projects.

  • Mobo Monster? Prefear calling it a Mobo-Horror with al the static platforms.

  • Cool Man Thanks for the video

  • 8:40 if you look at the PSU reflection you can see Maxishines FACE

  • does that board have support for two cpu's?

  • this dude has real breathing problems

  • will this fit in the new cosmos 2 Case

  • @Jay11Block uhhh im not sure but maybe but i wouldnt recommend it because you wouldnt have rubber grommets to use for cabling

  • @TheModernwarfare2009 about time thank you for replying

  • @Jay11Block no prob ;)

  • "Pindos" doomed to degradation

  • TWELVE memory slots?

  • U created A monster! =D

  • @vickedude95 he created a computer that's or was used by the NASA :D XD

  • how much would you profit from having 2 cpu's or apu's ?

will it actually double the ghz etc or just speed it up abit...?

  • @bagheadbaby this type of machines are ment to be used by SERVERS and stuff..

for example the NASA uses dual cpu computers.. and not for gaming... :D

  • im off to have a heart attack

  • im still on working pentium4, 512mb ram,34mb display QQ...

  • @Tsolmon1115 ijust upgraded from my p4 to a c2d @1.8 -.-

  • @Tsolmon1115 Like a boss

  • @Tsolmon1115 not to bad. rofl jk

  • There making a SR-3 with compatibly with the 3930K, 3960X, 3820 and any other close to release SBE CPU's, Sandy Bridge E with SR-3 with destroy these Xeons

  • u can put a baby to sleep in that case LOL!

  • I am a new to building my own computer, but OMG wow. Can someone tell me why there are two cpu's. And why you would need something like this. Let me say again, i am amazed that something like this exist

  • @pjfadriquela server board.

  • @pjfadriquela in case you run a server or... if you work for the NASA... this is pretty much close to what you're gonna use.. XD

  • If I'm not mistaken this insane motherboard is an LGA 1366 socket, so the Gulftown processors should fit. Or is this one of those things where the board itself just isn't build to handle that kind of processor? I would think if money was no object that you could just drop two i7-990X Gultown (LGA 1366) processors in there and just go totally all out.

  • @Kingjay814 this old mobo is strictly only with Xeons

  • That would be like a daddyboard

  • DUAL CPUS .. holy shit

  • What I would do to play Diablo II on this...

  • I'd love one with on-board graphics and a 400W psu.. dual single-core processors.. wait..

  • Your vid is popular on Colombia

  • my first Dual socket workstation was a xeon setup as well...

now im running a dual 1366 supermicro, dual quads @2.8 24GB ram 5870x2 750w OCZ

4x300GB 15k drive in a huge stripe. (I make nightly images to my server)

  • @ivelocity rhi will probobly run battlefield 9or 10

  • wow the dimensions are are unbelieveable compared to mine

nice mb cant wait to see it in action ;)

  • will this run battlefield 3?

  • @ivelocityi nope

  • thats what she said 1:33 :D

  • I would buy it but it's motherfudging expensive.

  • can this fit in the obsidian 800d

  • Xeons? What the hell were you thinking?

  • @DEKARONGAMER97 maybe he was thinking that each CPU needed a QPI link to the chipset as well as a bridge to each other :| desktop chips dont sup MP (multi proc)

  • dear santa?

  • IDC what anyone says, Xeons do NOT belong on the desktop platform. Strictly belongs in the server environment IMO...

  • @Excaliza remember your desktop chip is a chopped down server chip.... also he needs the xeons for the numbers of QPIs

  • im gona get this mainboard in the summer ;D

  • LUCKY U

  • Is this any good for gameing

  • @Pvtmatchsticks yeah :) it's amazing for gaming depending on your cards. Kinda outdated now though. (the chip-sets that is)

  • @Hapticpianist Well, until the SR3 and the SB-E Xeons.

  • does this board work well?

  • okay so evga must have a more advance computer then this to make this mother board?

  • which case is it?

  • can u run duel 8 core???

  • @DionMarinos Not with this motherboard. I don't think there is a 990x motherboard that supports 2 cpu's yet.

  • SR2 is for Xeons which are server cpus which is why there is no heat sink for the mobo. Server CPU are designed to run continuously at 100C per intel specs. The 990x is for a regular desktop but nothing beats a Xeon. Better parts and a specialized architecture. Also 1366 socket is basically dead. Intel completely shifted the design and tech. Now u can't even future proof anything industry moves too quickly.

  • i miss you!

  • thinks to self, "wait that's how big, IT'S HOW BIG, thats, thats, holy shit that fucking huge!"

  • He needs to get a big ass motherboard in order to get his dick excited.. How gay..

  • @ymaizosz lame

  • good to see crazyness being built up for once.

  • 1500W Power Supply? I could run that on any 1100W, with room to spare. Just so you know, PSU doesn't improve performance. *Facepalm*

  • @ThomasCreel no, no no no a GTX480 can at max go to 250 watt he has 4, overclocked.. so a generic 1100 watter will crash.. a platinum can powerer it. and oh wait he has more than 4 GPUS he has 2cpus ram bla bla bla.

  • Nah, I think my phone beats out this mega build. :P

  • Use this to play Mario

  • 3:26 yeah ;)

  • Don't put your sensitive components on the anti-static bags! The outside of the bag IS conductive!!!

  • @KickerLivinLoud conductivity is good for static. Low resistance reduces voltage and allows current to flow through the bag. If the bag wasn't conductive then the current couldn't flow through it so it would have to flow through the motherboard.

  • @KickerLivinLoud no its not i put all my parts on it

  • @KickerLivinLoud are u sure dude?

  • @schabadas1 the outside of the bag is conductive ... he could have fired that Mobo

  • who' s gonna pay the elictricity bill ?

that s 2 xion s in there , 2 graphic cards or maybe more !! cooling system that

consumes electricity as well very long bill might

  • @c35213 I think that if he can afford this computer than he can afford the electricity bill

  • big dady board

  • what is the case?

  • @gator966 Lian Li PC-P80

  • godziller :D

  • whyyy all these ram slots or graphic slots???whhyy?

  • tell me that BEST water cooling system for this MOTHERBOARD

    and tell me the CASING

  • what case?

  • May I ask what exactly you use one of these computers for?

  • would u recomand for gaming

  • the classified looks like a micro ATX at 5:10 hahahahha.

  • this is hundreds of light years ahead of what i own right now...

  • The Godziller!

  • never EVER put a pc part that is susceptible to ESD on the anti-static bag. it's conductive, use the cardboard box instead.

  • My pancreas just exploded

  • I bet the built in graphics are amazing :P

  • @Captainchiggs there is no onboard video (crazy, right?)

  • @rhino2595 hmm yea that is. I guess that they assume that if your buying the board you have enough money for a graphics card. But it would be sick if it had like amazing built in graphics wouldnt it? Maybe even just as strong at an 8800

  • can it run two 990x's? or two 10 core xeons

  • @kevinspl2000 only xeons

  • Waitin' for your new SR-3. (:

  • Mountain mods case! :)

  • 4:00 thats what she said

  • All a waste of money considering SB beats the 990x in almost everything.

  • @MrMike655 The 2600k? No it doesn't. Windows benchmarks may suggest that, but that is either because the tests are low threaded or because Windows is doing a terrible job of feeding all 12 threads (which it often does).

  • Only xeons will work due to 2 QPI's

  • are you restricted to xeons on this board or can you put other chips in their

  • @veterankill You misunderstood my question. What i meant is single piece of core i7. Non-dual socket basically.

  • the guy had an orgasm at 03:45

  • Question is, will it blend?

  • I'm not really familiar with the intel xeon procie.... is this dual xeons 12 core going to be better than a single core i7? or is it just going to be better for extreme multi core processing and not so much for just plain gaming?

  • @shogrran There are no single core i7's

  • how many ram slots? im seeing 12.

just think how fast 12 4gb ram cards can be?

    o w8 i forgot u can get 8 gb ram cards now.

    also......

    2 PROCESSORS???????!!!

  • @kierster99 ram dose not make your computer faster

  • Comment removed

  • OMG ULEH!

  • Thumbs up for the chipset fan

  • "Its unbelievable"

    well believe it

  • why can't we have a total 6ghz putting 2 xeon cpu of 3ghz each?

  • @CafimABF why would you only put single cores in?

Put two 6core Intel Xeon X5690 3.46GHz for a combined 41.52GHz of processing powah!

  • @zozanday EPEEN points and bragging rights. He isn't even pushing this to half it's potential, 12GB on a set up like this is weak, you'd want 32 at least. Also even a top end i7 single socket set up with equivalent GPU's and so on is way overkill for most games on the market.

  • All that power and a crappy OS... :(

  • JEEEZUS!

  • Its a flipping server mobo. i have an older server tower with the mobo XD i think its got like 1gb or ram(8 sticks in total) and 2x intel xeons(1ghz each not sure on the actually name as it was free and i dont care to look it up) how much did that run u?

  • Aca ya te salio mal, la camara necesito zoom para poder ver mejor a los componentes y desde otro angulo porque el reflejo en los paquetes no dejaba ver nada.

  • are those 2 cpu slots?

  • @MIGRAIN26 why yes my good man!

  • @MIGRAIN26 yes. for two Xeon processors

  • @mikeello35 holly fuckin shit

  • you sir sound like a wanker...

  • Seeing him lay that motherboard down on top of the anti-static bag like that makes me cringe. Those bags act as Faraday cages and move all of the static from the inside onto the outside of the bag; you should never put whatever was inside on top of them.

  • 5:13

  • this guy has a huge beard

  • Oh nice we people are so thankful for guys like you who are always seeding, folding, etc. RIGHT? like what servers do............

  • I will take that off you hands since you think its so big

  • OMG OMG..........................OMG !!!!!!!!!!

  • You sir, have an epic beard in this video.

  • So this is pretty much btx vs atx in size?

  • will this fit in the obsidian 800D without modification to the case?

  • @mike123asd yes i have the obsidian 800D

  • @mike123asd yes it does fit

  • thinking on buying a Xigmatek Elysium Full Tower on ebay.this video sold me on that idea.thanks.im looking forward to eating Ramen for the next six month when i buy this motherboard.

  • @Kreilkamp Make sure to get GOOD ramen not BAD!

  • if i want this motherboard, do i have to drill holes in my Corsair 800D? what do you think? or if you have EATX it will be good enough with the holes you got? thanks

  • i want one :(

  • so what games support 2 cpu´s on one board?

  • Uhm.. I read the description.. why did you only put 12 gig mem on a 12-slot? I'd fill them up with 4gig each so in the end I'll get 48 gig mem. Maybe there's something I'm missing..

  • @TommyIrianto Probably because the board has a 12Gb limit.

  • Comment removed

  • @sebmeikle Uhm... are you sure?

The board has 12 memory slots.. 6 for each processor. and the biggest memory chip available is 4 GB. 4x12 = 48 GB

Besides, It says so in their website, "Maximum of 48GB of DDR3 1333MHz+"

you can paste this link : evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=270-WS-W555-A2

  • @TommyIrianto Hmm, not sure then. Maybe he didn't want to spend "quite" that much or didn't see the need for 48Gb of Ram.

  • @TommyIrianto Why do you need 48GBs of RAM? o.o

  • @kyedaman and why not? having a motherboard like this is tells you one thing... you never have a need for anything. You may not need all 48 GBs of ram.. But I don't see the harm in doing so. Besides, it's utilising what's been given to the fullest. Otherwise, it's just a waste of unused slots and feels ungrateful. It's like not finishing your dinner plate.

  • godziller of mudder's blood

  • 4 way sli! 3 way sli! is i in heaven?!?

  • OMG I just Puted a face on that voice :O

at 8:41 we can see your face in the reflection :)
