As cool as Street Hawk was, the bike just wasn't as sexy as Kitt. The body style of Kitt was way ahead of it's time, slightly resembling a corvette but still exotic enough to be unique while the bike in Street Hawk looks a little bland. In a one on race though, a bike will always beat a car.

Obviously Knight RIder wins here hands down. In all that racing Michael Knight was able to repeaedly change his clothes and thus keep cool and fresh, Street Hawks rider unfortunately just got smellier and smellier and at the end I'm fairly certain he'd of given himself up for a nice shower.

It dosent. They would never have made the turns. Thats the problem with all this "Nitrous Oxide/ high octane" bullshit..........its irrelevent as opposed to the laws of physics. A car can only go as fast as the road allows it to go, and the road depends on the releif of the landscape........which in turn depends on the sub-strata. If only the car hoons on the road today would understand this. Dont be trying to negotiate a continuous reverse curve in muscle car......youll be sorrrrrry!!!

aamrun, your right a Bike is more maneuverable then a car with it being smaller...but what Kitt can't turbo boost over he can go thru most things. with Kitt being inulnerable. StreetHawk doesn't have The Molecular Bonded Shell Kitt has.

K.I.T.T. in Super Pursuit mode and Street Hawk's Hypterthrust both clock in at 300MPH, however Wiki gives K.I.T.T. a 40% increase to his speed...but i never believe Wiki.

Taking Street Hawk's/K.I.T.T weight to horsepower/torque/aerodynamic ratio into account Street Hawk should be able to race past K.I.T.T with little problem.
