  • Well, this song is about ten minutes too short

  • fucking COOL to hear it continue u dont know how long i wated to hear this

  • REWINDDDDDDD !!!

  • use keepvid dot cm to download rastafariiiii

  • where the fuck did u get this i have to know?

  • The dinosaur who must not be named and 17 of his friends watched this

  • LISTEN CLOSELY!

This song is for the 1% !!!!

    We're all bloody worthless,

    Just greedy human scum,

The numbers all add up to a negative sum!

  • This is the only punk rock song I'll ever like. :D

  • HOW MANY MEGATONS?!?!

Fuckin' beautiful. This is the ONLY thing I remember from Star Trek IV.

  • DUE!!! THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You haven't STIV,? It was when Kirk and McCoy was in the elevator at the hospital on their way up to Chekhov

It's hilarious that McCoy think 20th century medicine is torture.

  • @foxmulder211 it basically was and still is!

  • Fucking Kirk and Spock - typical: they respond to the ills of the 20th century by attacking a symptom and not the problem. When this film came out I felt the same rage and hate towards all the pop-n-fresh fucking Reaganites/Thatcherites and what they'd done that this punk obviously feels and the song embodies. Fuck Spock.

  • GREAT FUCKING SONG!

  • punk obviously didn't know that kirk kicked khan's ass, kor, kruge, the triskelion gladiators, would be the only man besides archer to escape rurta penthe prison, was out saving the galaxy long after this kid was dead, took out a doomsday machine, out foxed nomad, v'ger, Apollo, Landru, alien Hitler...the list goes on.

  • @AMC2283 I donlt remember the one about "alien Hitler."

  • @MsXizan Patterns of Force

  • @AMC2283 What does a STAR WARS novel have to do with Kirk kicking an "alien Hitler's" ass?

  • @AMC2283

i wonder if kirk could kick picards arse in a fight.

in picards youth hecould take on a set of norsakins.

  • @chorister20002000 I once saw a freshman cadet outrun 4 upper classmen--damndest thing I ever saw. I never met anyone with more drive, determination or more courage than Jean Luc Picard.

Of course, Kirk doesn't like to lose.

  • @chorister20002000

Kirk could easily kick picard's butt, Picard was to passive he always tried to talk his way out of things, Kirk on the other hand would shoot first and talk later.

So while picard would be trying reason with Kirk, Kirk would get into position and attack.

  • @foxmulder211

    lol whut

  • Was disappointed to learn this wasn't a real band... would love to have one of their CDs. And not only is this a good song (written and sung by the guy playing the punk), but it's also in a very good Trek movie (even a non-fan like one of my brothers liked it). Best scene in the movie...

Kirk: "Spock, where the hell is the power you promised me?"

    Spock: "One damn minute, admiral..."

  • @IndyPunk72

The best part of IV had to be McCoy getting mad at the interns in the elevator.

Intern:Do you have a different point of view Doctor

McCoy: Sounds like the damn Spanish inquisition

  • 100% True Punk

  • This is one of the best punk songs ever, and the fact that it is done just over night screwing around as a one off and not even a real band really makes it real punk rock. This songs gets stuck in your head in way possible it makes giggle and bang my head every time I hear it. I just wish they had made a whole album!

  • This is on my iPod.

I play it on the bus.

    Welcome to the Future.

  • This is the kind of punk I hate...scummy fucking dirty shit.

  • @mobilesuitZer0 If it's not a dirty shit, it's not punk! BITCH!

  • Best punk song by a nonexisting band ever!!!!!!

  • does anybody have a link to where you can download this song?

  • @DomenicRipper i do.

  • LOL I don't know where you got this crazy relic but I realize some "incidental" music on TV and in movies require a full version. Thanks.

  • Little did my uptight Christian parents realize that taking me to see a wholesome Star Trek as a child movie would start my life long love of Punk and other "devil music".

  • Absolute Genius. I really wonder if the dude ever understood what a great song he wrote. I've been singing this for nearly three decades.

  • @steved8878 Agree. I've caught myself singing it ever since I saw the movie as a kid years ago.

  • @steved8878 Kirk Thatcher, the guy who played the punk wrote and sang the song... right? Let's get contact info and write fan letters. I'm serious!

  • TO FENERBAHCE (MATCH FIXING)

  • i love this song

  • I read once that they had difficulties capturing the shitty sound quality they needed for this song; no matter what settings they set their high-end recording equipment to, it was just too good. They ended up propping open the door of the music studio and playing out in the hall to do it.

  • @evercharmer Actually, Kirk Thatcher went out and bought the worst microphone he could find. :D

  • "WOULD YOU MIND TURNING OFF THAT DAMN NOISE?!"

    ~Kirk, to punk

  • Just a year later, NIN came out with Pretty Hate Machine, they made a song later, "Your god is dead, and no one cares!!! If there is a Hell, I'll see you there!!!" Industrial goes back to 1982 with Skinny Puppy, though artists before that like Tangerine Dream though it was not called Industrial. Late 70's roots of punk and early industrial were out there. Just listen to early Tangerine Dream. Rock music with primative synths...

  • I am pogo'ing so hard to this

  • Lol...this song has a built-in response to 'dislikes'

  • Is there any way I could download this song and get it on my I pod? I saw the movie for the first time last night and i fell in love with it! And the scene was priceless XP

  • @JellyK1025 on the wiki it says that its not on sale on any site since its not "official"

  • @JellyK1025 I'm not going to tell you HOW exactly, because then I'd be advocating piracy, but the rule of thumb is "if you can hear it, you can have it" meditate upon these words and you'll find your solution.

  • @doctorwho87 thanks. Thats alot more helpful then the last reply I got actually. =)

  • @JellyK1025

There's a web site that will do it for you. Can't post the URL here. Something like youtube mp3 org. Google it, should be the first result.

  • @0nePumpChump I LOVE YOU! Your my hero of the month! Thanks so much! I would hug you but this is getting creepy. Thanks again! =D

  • As a musician, I can only say this, of all the songs that I have encountered in my travels, this is the most........ PUNK ROCK!

  • @vanschwagner

    i salute to that.

  • LOL so true, we don't have a future

  • The captain from Wall e looks like Kirk Thatcher!

  • Best Punk song EVER!

  • @CPTPhilpott it's good but not as good as "Anti Nowhere League - So What"

  • Who knew Star Trek could produce such great punk rock? Song makes you think.... Berlin wall the banks!!!

  • song kicks ass, spent my teen years wondering who the fuck sang it !

  • "lets just push the button, we'd be better off dead" haha! I like how they time the middle finger for the "screw you" part

  • Comment removed

  • This song is the reason I got into metal.

  • @SteelVelocity But this song is punk.......

  • @aeclark82 I never stated that this song was metal. Please re-read my comment.

  • @aeclark82 I hate you.

  • @SteelVelocity and I berate you!

  • I loved that they used the Beastie boys in the new movie: Beastie Boys referenced this scene in one of their songs!

  • @YorikoSakakibara

    Which song references this?

  • @hwicki "Intergalactic" Here's an article about the incident:

  • @hwicki "Intergalactic". there are a couple articles online about it if you search Beastie Boys and Vulcan pinch.

  • Reminds me of a sketch on SCTV for "Mel's Rockpile" where they had a band called the "Queen Haters".

  • Such a good song lol

  • song was also in 'back to the beach' in 1986/7

i spent 20 years looking for a recording of it. guess i dn need a recording now, just a url :D

  • @dashiel87 You can go to " youtube to mp3 " . com and put the url in the converter and there you have it!!

    your search is over

  • Funny, the most punk song of all time was made for a Trek Film. haha

  • Ahh.."I hate you".. such a classic. They certainly don't make music like they used to.. like "I hate you".

  • I remeber this scene from the movie and thinking how cool it would be if this would be made into a full fledged song.

  • This song was written by Kirk Thatcher (the punk on the bus) who also did the vocals. He was also an associate producer for the movie, the voice of the vulcan computer, worked behind the scenes in ILM's creature shop on Return of the Jedi, and wrote for the Muppets. Quite a talented guy.

  • Needs to be covered more often.

  • @blackmagnetictape I play all of the necessary instruments, and live in Virginia Beach. Do you play or sing? Are you anywhere near V.B.?

  • @blackmagnetictape I play all of the necessary instruments, and live in Virginia Beach. Do you play or sing? Are you anywhere near V.B.? We could also practice individually and meet up at a Trek-convention and rock the fucking house.

  • oh my god yes,

  • this fake song i remember and its better than most of the so called real punk that comes out today

  • this song was in 'back to the beach' also. i spent 15 years trying to find this on vinyl, finally got a bad quality mp3 of it in 2003, and now its on youtube. awesome its here, but arent my last 22 years covered in pee.

  • i waited for years to find the full song!!! thankyou for posting!!!!

  • HELL YES!!! XD

  • Nice Beatles reference at the end. ;-)

  • y cant i get his on my ipod i freakin love this its amazing hahaha

"do you mind turning off that damn noise (flicks middle finger at kirk)" i love that scene

  • Not bad fake punk rock, up there with "Pulling on the Boots" from the Romper Stomper soundtrack.

  • 0:47-0:53......i haven't heard any wiser words!

  • What would make it more punk: screaming "Fuck You!" between the chorus and the verse.

  • YES!!!!!FINALLY!!!!

  • wow!!!! waitnig for years for this!!!!! thank you!!!

  • Vulcan Neck Pinch: When asking nicely only gets you so far.

  • This would be a cool Manson Cover . . .

  • The fact that it says "i berate you" and "i eschew you" are just too awesome for words.

  • I found this websight that allows you to convert you tube videos to MP3 format and it works great! It's free and there is no signup involved! The name of the websight is Video2mp3

  • That's great.

  • so this was a cold war song

  • That screenshot is so perfect.

  • Thank you for this post. Always wanted to hear the full

    tune. Awesome!

  • I was always a little sour when Spock neck pinched this guy... that song kicked ass.

  • @10072018 but it would be annoying on the bus. and spock rocks.

  • Sounds a bit like Anti-Nowhere League mixed with the band "Raped" who later became "Cuddly Toys". Great stuff! Probably the only Star Trek movie I made it through without getting bored.

  • well that tells a lot about you

  • we need to be able to download this!

  • itunes turned up nothing. :(

  • This song is awesome.

  • Cool! I've never heard the full song before today!!!!

  • The beauty of punk is you can record something overnight without puttin in too much effort and accidently make a great song!

  • I found this because i followed coldmirror on twitter!!

  • They should have used that song instead of the Beasty Boys in the new Star Trek movie!!

  • @Exverlobter Yeah they should but what can ya do. Not that there's anything wrong with early beasty boys

  • That would have been a nice little moment for fans of the original Star Trek. Alas, a missed opportunity (like most of the film, just my opinion).

  • @Exverlobter brilliant idea!

  • @Exverlobter i remember this song and its better than most of the so called real punk that comes out today

  • @Exverlobter

    That's what I said

  • "...and I say SCREW YOU!"

    NEXT LEVEL!!! :D

  • My favorite moment in any Star Trek movie.

The only choice we're givin is how many megatons. and i eschew you, and i say screw you, and i hope your blue, too.we're all bloddy worthless, just greedy human scum. Those were part of the lyrics but im almost out of letters to wright down any more.

  • here is the rest :The numbers all add up to a negative sum, cause I hate you, yes I hate you and I hate you too! Where is the future the things we've done and said, lets just push the button we'd be better off dead cause I hate you and I berate you, cant wait to get to you.
