I used a very similar chain back in 1986 at Pittsburgh's WMYG.
We had the Texar at the studio end of the STL link, the Optimod sat at the xmitter site. Used old AEL's then got a new Continental - right before they found out the hi voltage wire used to connect the HV transformer was faulty - evidently killed a guy somewhere (he had a 240 Delta power feed and for some reason it never ground faulted)
I found it out right after I blew an SCR and recifier stack on a 1 month old 35kW
Very nice chain! Compression in that audio wasnt evident at all. But, i ran your audio thru my audio chain as well,,,, which is an optimod 8100 & a pair of audimax's, and some other random stuff. I love it!! Analog processing ROCKS!!

you will not get better then Analog processing. Digital is soooooooo sterile in comparison.

@ajawam Lots of Prisms on here it seems.. I'm not surprised that WMYG had those, Prism was right here in Pittsburgh. Magic 97, history.
