  • I won't give you the time of day to even hear your argument. Regardless of what you practice in real estate, you break the law when you put up those signs. If you are willing to break the law and litter and think you are in the right, I would highly doubt your ethics regarding real estate transactions. Does that make sense????

And yes, his article does say some false things, but I think I make a valid point above.

  • @mlinkenauger You do realize by you responding to my video, you are giving me the time of day right? How can you doubt my ethics in Real Estate when you have never been apart of any of my transactions? Let me help you out. Bandit Signs are a form of Gorilla Marketing. Many businesses beside Real Estate Investors use them. When politicians put out their signs during election time, do you say anything? They are the ones who make the laws right? Don't think to hard on that one.

  • @TheBanditWholesaler You fail to miss the fact that you break the law when you put them up. And I CAN choose to "not give you the time of day" when I immediately stop playing your video and refuse to listen to your justifications. You act unethically in one area, you are likely to act unethically in other areas. It is common sense, unfortunately common sense is not so common. Good luck with your unlawful Gorilla schemes and whatever other unethical behaviors you justify.

  • @mlinkenauger And I am sure you never drove one mile over the posted speed limit correct? If you did, you know you were breaking the law right? I'm trying to understand why how I market for leads for my business is of any concern to you. If you have any evidence, facts, proof etc of me doing anything even remotely unethical in my business towards any client, by all means present it, display it, highlight, If you can't, you are merely trolling for attention.

  • @mlinkenauger Now that you have gotten whatever you wanted to say off your chest, do you feel better now? If so, I'm glad. Have a nice day.

  • Very informative and very good video. However, you tone appears very rude and reflects poorly upon you. Still very good video! i never knew much of this information.

  • @partsmet lol, if you read the article that was written about me, then you would know why I was contra sending in my response to him. When a person who doesn't even know me or my business writes a story basically saying that I steal people's houses because I use bandit signs, no way in hell will I try and play nice with a person like that.

  • @TheBanditWholesaler Oh okay then i totally understand! I don't know much about you but you seem to really love Baltimore and you believe in its success at coming back strong? I so hope it does. It is honestly a gorgeous city. Hope to live there one day!

  • Thanks Guys. Trust me, if the people who hate bandit signs weren't bitching about them, they would be bitching about something else. They are just negative people who are deep down jealous that others are doing things to better their lives and they aren't

  • good post! Its sucks when people automatically assume that the we buy houses people are trying to "steal" houses from people. And so what if an investor makes a profit, isn't that what this country was based on "captialisim" -- so if you make a profit and you improve the neighborhood around you what is the problem.

  • LOL at these people on this comment. Is it a CRIME to make money? or actually PROMOTE your business?

I'm speaking for all the investors I know when I say this. homeowners KNOW we make a profit. They know that we're making profit on their houses. We make money helping out sellers who need to get rid of their house.

I make money for helping out distressed homeowners and I'm proud of it.

Do your research before you write your articles. Be a professional.

  • Great comment...

  • It is silly to say "investors" are trying to "rejuvenate neighborhoods" or "put roofs over poor people's heads". No you are not. You are trying to make as much money as you can, plain and simple. If you wanted to do those "noble causes" you talk about, you'd be volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, etc. Quit pretending. You are simply trying to enrich your SELF, period. I'm not saying that is good or bad, it is just being honest and not rationalizing.

  • @vikingbrynn So are you saying wking that investors aren't rejuvenating neighborhood by taking blighted houses and fixing them up to first class standards? So what do you call it when you take an eye shore and make it a pleasant sight? Please explain. What are you doing exactly to "help t he cause" viking besides trying to belittle those who actually "put their money where their mouths are"?

  • @vikingbrynn it's silly? I'll take it that you aren't an investor. I've done many rehabs throughout Baltimore. It's common sense that investors want to make money on their investments. A property in first class condition brings the most profit either resaling it or renting or lease optioning. Your comment is beyond silly. It's a no duh that investors are out to make money, what investor is out to lose money, but that doesn't mean that investors don't take pride in helping to rejuvenate houses

  • America's future is toast, for the simple reason that the value of nearly everything nowadays rests SOLELY upon whether it generates profit for somebody somewhere. I say, to hell with not protecting the environment (as in BP oil spill), to hell with ruining people's lives with quick profits from 0% down homes they couldn't really afford, to hell with lost lives from massive war profiteering, and like this bandit sign rationale, to hell with non-stop, in-your-face, anything-for-a-dollar marketing

  • @vikingbrynn Please spare me the anti capitalist marxist dribble vik, I have't even had my cup of coffee yet. Go down to the gulf and clean off some birds or something. I have no idea what bandit signs and BP have in common.

  • I was a real estate "investor" for several years, cashing out in 2006 when it was clear (to me) the market had topped. But, contrary to you, I refused to use bandit signs, since they were trashy and, frankly, in-your-face rude. (And, I think politicians' signs slum up public spaces even more.) Sorry, dude, but the FACTS are that "investors" like me and you trying to turn a quick buck with minimal work helped create the housing bubble to begin with (but Wall Street investment banks much moreso).

  • @vikingbrynn Good for you viking, here's a cookie now don't choke on it. you choose not to use signs i do. The old saying goes "to each his own". I also won't apologize for being a capitalist and making money. Do what you want. Move to cuba, north korea or some other anti capitalist country if you like. Also the subprime bubble originated with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Do yourself a favor and google New Times and Fannie Mae and press enter.

  • I agree 10000% It's laughable how the "bandit sign vigilantes" are so outraged over legitimate business people conducting marketing for their services then they are drug dealers selling poison in their cities, murderers killing people in their cities, robbers and burglars victimizing innocent people in their cities. Oh no, they are quiet when it comes to "real" criminals. That's because they are cowards and are afraid to address the real issues facing their cities and communities.

  • the bandit sign police need to go and fight real crime

  • That is an important aspect that the people who don't like bandit signs never look at. I had someone clean my carpet a few months ago, I discovered him through one of his signs.

  • I'm glad you liked my video. Journalism is suppose to be about the facts. These days journalism has become about a person's views blended into the news as they see. It's kind of hard to take Bandit Sign ordinances seriously when politicians use the exact same marketing medium that

others use. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers, mechanics and others use bandit signs to market their business, and these businesses pay taxes to the cities in which they use their signs to generate business.

  • Did you see the HuffPost investigative video? Your commentary was informative. Here in Chicago politicians tack up signs on boarded up houses. Its pretty annoying and I'm glad you mentioned its also an issue in Baltimore. I thought it was just here.
