Major Magic's was so popular in Buffalo, NY. I would go to the one in West Seneca...had many a birthday there. I recall a very scary gorilla in the band...am I wrong? I can't remember the type of animal it was...
there was an mm near buffalo, ny. i remember i went there in 1993 for my b-day and i received mortal kombat for sega genesis as well as the movie aladdin. best day of my life. watchin the show was the best part. i would like animatronics in my house. i wonder if you had sex with it would it be called beastielectrality cuz like i hear people havin sex with inanimate objects but not animated man i'm so drunk i gotta go piss likea whore!!!!!!

Tony the guy that owned was always in trouble for tax evasion and had to sell em off.. haha used to work at the one in toledo.. they were crappy on how they took care of the place but the pizza was much better than the abomination chuck e chesse tries to pass off
Me and my friend were inspired by this video to visit the Major Magics in Toledo to laugh at these animatronic puppet things. Probably the greatest moment ever! We made some jokes about the Major going to 'Nam and having his arms, legs, and the back of his head blown off and suffering napalm burns, as well as Achmed who "played" a trombone and happened to have died 10 years ago. The laughs were quick to come and will take a while to wear off. If you want a cheap laugh, go here!

and i was very sad when i came back from college and saw my MM was closed...that was where my grandma would spoil me rotten when she would babysit me in the summer
just wanted to see what came up when i typed it in. and to my surprise there they were the huge puppets of horror. also there was a section of the band made of pipe organs and drums with faces. nice to know people are as morbid as i.
And this place is still open? Horrifying. There used to be one where I live, but they closed it up around 10 years ago. Had a lot of birthdays there and I can remember strange details about the band. There was a fox singing, lion on drums, gorilla on keyboard. Two bears on the right, Major on the left. I can remember them playing a song from the movie Footloose, and at least two by the Beatles. Anyway, before it closed my family stopped going because the games and things were always broken.

There were a few in Michigan, around Metro Detroit. I think that was the only area of Michigan MM existed, there might have been 5 of them or so, I know of 2 for sure. The last one closed down early this year :(.
@poppopbeat yep they had several locations. Madison Heights Mi. Toledo Ohio. I also remember one being on 7mile in Livonia before. 7mile and farmington in the shopping center with Kmart...
@andersonvillas1277 hey i used to go to the one in madison heights michigan i loved it there n when someon told me it closed down iu didnt wanna belive it so i went n saw it for my self n i was pissed off i love that place it was fun chuncky cheeses aint got nothing on major magics. did they dont got a play yard n a SLIDE do they huh NOOO my family and i would spend hours there at major magics hell i would of even taaken my kids there lol
i mean, these things have not been touched since the late 80s! they're in such horrible condition, it's scary. we have the walrus guy whos eyes are buldging out, and we have the "major" who i did not get but he is a burn victim.
I'm from Michigan and had all my birthday parties at this place until I was about 7 (:
